What Action Should I Take?
What I’ve been learning lately is leaving me uncertain of my path, both prescribed and my role. I seek the input and experience I know is here, which I’ve been most grateful for. SCAM?
Just received notice, out of the blue, from “Healthwell Foundation” that a prostate cancer grant amount of $8k has been approved. It includes a “Healthwell Foundation” pharmacy card. Acalabrutinib exhibits comparable efficacy, superior safety to ibrutinib for CLL (finally!)

Weird Things That Helped Your Depression?
I have treatment-resistant depression. The problem is that I have tried just about everything to help it and very little makes a difference. Self-introduction
Hi, I'm a 72-year-old USA male, no symptoms, but diagnosed a month ago with CLL through routine blood workup (plus the usual FISH-followup after high WBC noted). So I've been reading assiduously, and trying to figure out when/how to assemble a team. For me it's W&W, with another blood assay in 3 months

Update—2 week detour
Unfortunately, I had to skip 2 weeks treatments. My wife and I tested positive for COVID. 2 Saturday’s ago, during dinner (at home, of course), she didn’t feel well and went up early. The next morning her temperature was 99.4 and she went for a rapid test. They called a couple of hours later with bad

Is There A Potentially Game Changing Treatment In The Pipeline?
While I don't read the posts on clinical trials and studies with the same grasp of the topic as many on this site, it seems to me that often new treatments have incremental effect. That is, they add additional time before they too fail. I certainly am thankful that there are new treatments that add additional

End Stage wet AMD
I have had great results for 12 years with injections in my left eye. I have had Eyelea and Avastin and Lucentis. Currently on Lucentis and my vision was 20/25 2 weeks ago. I developed wet AMD in my right eye a year ago. I agreed to participate in a clinical trial for either Lucentis or Avastin.

New randomized clinical trial of Lu-177-PSMA-617 for men who are still hormone sensitive
Novartis announced a new international Phase 3 clinical trial slated to begin
3/5/21
for men with metastatic hormone-sensitive PC. There will be a crossover after SOC failure, so everyone will get the drug. They haven't announced the sites yet, but with a sample size of 1126, I expect it will

Three clinical trial options after Zytiga fails
Hello, all! It’s been a few months since I’ve last posted (had a baby in October and my dad’s PCa was stable-ish) but it looks like the most recent scans showed growth. He’s 71, dx’ed nearly 3 years ago, and has already utilized Zoladex, docetaxel, and Zytiga and some targeted radiation. He’s had widespread
