What to expect after SVT ablation
Good Morning! I am new here but I underwent a cardiac ablation for an SVT on this past Friday the 27th. To give you some background, I was born with Congenitally Corrected Transposition of the Great Arteries. In other words my lower heart chamber is completely reversed. I also have situs inversus, a

Advice/reassurance after miscarriage
We were prescribed clomid but the new consultant we saw told us not to take it due to the fact that, with my womb abnormality, if I conceived twins, then it would likely end in miscarriage or very
premature
birth
. He’s given us another 6 months to try before we have our first attempt at ivf.

PVC and blood pressure
Can pvc cause an instant spike in blood pressure. Had ablation on 11/15/2017. Pressure avg 130/75. Yesterday spiked to 190 /110. Went to ER had ekg, blood work abd chest xray. All came back normal and they sent me home. Seeing my cardiologist in pm.

New Regimen of Sotalol
Could anyone please advise of what my EP's strategy may be. I must explain that I have a history of ventricular tachycardia and Ido have an AICD implanted which has discharged multiple time. Yes I have been extremely lucky so far. I recently changed to a new EP who immediately placed a 24 hr. Holter

Does ablation also stop PAC’s and PVC’s
Hello, I am having an ablation for afib at the end of January. Does anyone know I this will help with my PAC’s and PVC’s as well?

How long before speaking to doctor?
The chance of miscarriage increased by 76%,a
premature
birth
by 26% and the need for a caesarean section by 40%. Not hugely thrilling reading :( so was wondering, how long do we try before we speak to doctor about what next steps are?

Hello, I was diagnosed with afib at 38 this past May. Was working nights for 13 years and was around 300 pounds and wasn't eating or sleeping well at all. I have had PAC’s and some PVC’s in the past with OCD and anxiety. The worst of all of this is I feel everything even PAC’s. I know the moment

Newly Diagnosed and Terrified!!
Had my first noticable Afib spell a couple months ago. Was woken out of a sleep with it and called 911, pulse was around 270. Was not aware of what it was so I believed I was dying. I was hospitalized for 3 days. Blood work, continuous heart monitoring, Nuclear Stress test, calcium scan (result 0) and

PVCs?
Does anyone suffer from these weird heart beats worse when you have a cold? I've been dealing with a chest cold and sinus pressure for about a week and have been having PVCs every day! I know I've read before that an infection can cause these but my whole family has had this cold/flu whatever it is and

supraventricular ectopics
My ectopics are, the cardio says, supraventricular, but I don't see anyone posting about this type - is it the same as PAC or PVC? or something different? He saw on my Reveal monitor evidence of them, and said they were infrequent - but I'm feeling loads of them, certainly not infrequently. Will it

Hi everyone, early onset AF and changes in condition. Embarrassingly anxious 😟
Hi everyone, It’s nice to find this forum - but also unfortunate to see so many with AF! I was diagnosed with paroxysmal AF when I was 36 not long after my Daughter’s birth. I had months of “its anxiety/PND/tiredness” before an echo revealed a very slightly floppy mitral valve with mild regurge; this

Pvcs
So, I had pvcs (. Heart palpitations) for a little over 3 weeks. Well, they stopped about 3 days ago and now I'm unsure how I feel about that. It's like having your check engine light on for awhile, and you get use to it but when it turns off, you wonder why and worry cus it turned off. That's how I

Kardia -- again!
Nanfranz again, two months after my first Kardia post, and a few weeks after receiving the Kardia I ordered. I have paroxysmal afib, and now almost-constant ectopics. PVCs, PACs, and supra-ventricular tachycardia -- these three show up on y medical record (after monitoring) but not sure I can tell
