I'm new here, I guess I'm looking for experiences that sound similar to mine and whether it's endo or other ways you got diagnosed. Background: - From 1st ever period, periods were a nightmare. Better work security and rights for us
Ok so I only recently joined this endo group as I was made to believe by a certain consultant the pain is all in my head, I was addicted to codeine or just wanted an op!! I read everyone’s comments, see how much it affects our daily lives and get angry. Endometriosis is a debilitating disease so why

Do we have Graves antibodies forever, even after RAI?
I was hyper in 1987, and in my medical records one endo mentioned Graves, and one mentioned Hashimotos thyroiditis. There's no record of any antibody tests, just high T4 and low TSH. I had carbimazole and PTU, but relapsed afterwards, so was given RAI in 1989, and have been very hypo ever since. I

Hyperthyroidism and treatment question
I recently got diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. My doctor has told me it's either RAI or surgery and I am trying to understand whether this is the normal course of action or whether people would tend to be put on medication first. My doctor seemed very reluctant to give medication. I live in Japan, so

Codeine and thyroid
Hi folks, I take codeine on a prescribed basis from time to time. Does anybody know if codeine interferes with the thyroid or thyroid hormones?

No more hot feet and much less RLS
After about two years of taking 65 mg of iron every other night along with 125 mg of vitamin C, I no longer have hot feet when I get into bed. A Harvard study reported that taking it every other night is more effective and another study showed that taking iron with vitamin C is beneficial. More importantly

ask and insist
monthly injections in both eyes for over 4 years now. Gradually the "after" pain was getting worse and worse . I would mention it to Doctor who brushed me off . The last 5 injections where almost unbearable, swollen , burning eyes. The last injection kept me in a dark room with eyes closed for 36 hours

Help
I don’t seem to tolerate levothyroxine so been using iodine and was doing fine on it for a while then started feeling not good. I’d used NDT for some months two years ago but hair started dropping and also tried T3 only but same with hair fall. I’ve ordered LDN as I’ve read many people with hashis take

What do these blood results indicate?
Hello all, so after posting my last results when I was 700mcg of Levo and being completely over medicated, I slowly reduced my T4 down to 300mcg and added Raw Dessicated Bovine thyroid. My moods are stable, cms are coming off. I am not as exhausted after exercise and incorporating whole food way

I am so grateful to you people
Thank you to all of you for responding to my request for advice, this whole thing is such a learning curve it really does take time and the kind of help/advice that you provide is so valuable. I have taken note of your comments regarding Codeine, splitting my Pred' dosage, possibility it may not be PMR
