Not sure why but I was a little nervous about Starting this week. Turns out there was nothing t worry about. I did however have a tech malfunction and when I accidentally pulled my headphone jack out of my phone unknown to me it paused my C25K. When I run I try not to look at the time at all and

Anyone that can relate to PTSD ICU?
Hi 🙋🏻♀️, my name is Jane. I had a full blown panic attack the other day after picking up a hospital pharmacy medication refill. I heard the Mayo One helicopter 🚁 landing on the roof. Before I even saw it, I froze. I forced myself to exit the building and stared up watching as they finished landing

Difficult decision. What would you do?
Hi everyone, I have been on a low dose of Olanzapine (5mg) for 6 months. I have tried lowering my dose a couple of times but I always get terrible insomnia which brings on anxiety. I am turning 35 this year and really want to try for baby number 2. My psychiatrist has assured me that being on Olanzapine

Every other day depression anyone?????
Hi...I am having a very real problem with every other day depression. One day I am relatively fine and can accomplish things, while other days I can barely get out of bed. I also have anxiety, ptsd and ocd. It is becoming so obvious that I am planning appointments, lunch dates, etc. around it. I

Looking to meet other mums who had psychosis?
Hi everyone, I’m hoping to meet some other mums in London who also experienced psychosis. I don’t know anyone who went through what I’ve been through and it would be nice to connect with others who have. I had psychosis during the first lockdown last year when my baby was 10 months old and my eldest

I have used pep before and didn’t finish the cure. Can it affect that I’m taking it now by not working? I took them for 4 weeks

How long has recovery taken ?
Hi, Something that has been playing on my mind a lot recently is worry over ending up being diagnosed as bi-polar. I was admitted to hospital in January 2019 when my son was 12 weeks old with postpartum psychosis and we spent 8 weeks in the mother and baby unit. I have been on lithium and Olanzapine

In search of something better
I just joined this site hoping to find anything useful or good. I am diagnosed with PTSD and Panic Disorder with agoraphobia, I'm afraid it tends to define me, but not entirely. I think I'm somewhere in the middle of my journey. Hi!

Life insurance after PP
Hi - we’ve recently been trying to get personal protection insurance as we’re in the process of buying a house, but all my applications keep coming back saying they can’t provide me cover due to my medical history - other than postpartum psychosis I do not have any other mental or physical health history

A song about my wife’s ppp
Hi there! So i wrote a song for my wife’s ppp. The song has some facts that my wife said she had experienced early on her episodes. I am really shy when it comes to these things but i thought i’d share it anyway. Hope it helps or brighten your day a little. I haven’t really thought a title but i

Has anyone else lost their child because of their postpartum psychosis?
Has anyone else lost their child because of their postpartum psychosis? If so did you get them back or are you trying to get them back? I'm in this situation where socal services have taken my son and he has now gone to his grandparents for the forcible future, I would very much like to get him back.

I need help with how I'm feeling.
⚠️TW⚠️ *PLEASE NO HATEFUL COMMENTS, THESE ARE GENUINELY MY FEELINGS* I need some advice on my mental health atm. I'm not technically postpartum as my son is 21 months but I'm still suffering another of birth trauma and recovery from postnatal psychosis. I've been to see my psychiatrist today and explained

PTSD relapse, stuck situation
It's going awful. I hate being so sensitive to PTSD triggers. How PTSD affects my ability to do anything, from basic self care, to hobbies, not to mention work. Never had that. I hate being unable to build self efficacy particular, at a level that even if I'm not depressed or anything, I can't find motivation

Increased appetite on olanzapine
I was on 2. 5mg of olanzapine at 36 weeks pregnant as a preventative with no side effects , I went up to 5mg a few days after delivery, two weeks ago and I am Constantly hungry and craving sweet foods. I'm eating so much junk, going in the kitchen and eating 500 calories worth of biscuits, chocolate

Libido kind of problem
Hello there! So apparently my wife has issues with her libido. She never had issues with these kind of things. She was sexually active (wish she was a bit more 😂) and she was enjoying her sexuality. We never had problems with our sex life. So after she gave birth with c section she had her recovery
