Seeking treatment options for Severe PMDD
Birth control and SSRIs are not working. One week a month the depression disabling. I have a specialist but she doesn't seem to have any more options for me. There must be something else out there.

Decapeptyl injection with Tibolone HRT
The thinking behind this was that it would remove the input from my ovaries and give a diagnosis of severe PMS or
PMDD
if I felt better as a result. I started to feel weird about a week in, when I also got my period.

I've been in surgical menopause (with HRT) for over 2 years (to calm
PMDD
) and Ive read that ADHD traits can become more prominent in menopause. surgical menopause support groups confirm this. I have an ADHD/Autism assessment scheduled mid October.

Questioning a Thyroid issue
Hi there, I've been in surgical menopause for almost 5 years after surgery for
PMDD
. Since surgery, I've been trying to find hormonal balance by adding back sex hormones.

One being
pmdd
/ pme and I can can experience mild mania, pscyhosis symptoms, anxiety or ocd. Or sometimes nothing. Sometimes quite intense. The last few days I have experienced two bouts of mild mania, but still quite scary and worrying. I just had to ride the waves and mask until it calmed down.

OCD and PMS/PMDD
I have OCD and
PMDD
(pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder). Does anyone else find that their OCD symptoms really flare up the week before their period, and then they feel SO much better once their period comes? You would think I would get used to it very month but I don't!

PMDD
, however since being on Zoladex I feel as though I have become more miserable, anxious, angry and full of rage.

blood test interpretation
Have been exhausted for years and been diagnosed with
pmdd
, depression, premenopausal etc but I’m wondering if this is what’s going on. I’m also low iron and vit d. Can anyone help me make sense of these results. In previous tests the gp has only ever done TSH and always said it’s ok.

wanting diagnosis, need answers please!
I also have been diagnosed with
PMDD
. But non of my conditions are severe anymore or even there anymore because of the meds I’m on. I am generally really stable, well and happy now :) just with a few quirks I suppose.

Best supplementation?
I also have
PMDD
, endometriosis and strong elements of ADHD (I believe the poor thyroid function is potentially root cause of all) I am currently on the T4, T3, chemical menopause and add back HRT.

Not sure what to do anymore
Before I started perimenopause I experienced depression, primarily related to
PMDD
but I was able to push through. I knew the depression was cyclical and that it would lift. And it did. Until I was around 50 years old and started experiencing severe depression which did not lift.
