Radiologist advised against proton radiation therapy because his last PSA was <.1. His oncologist thinks radiation is indicated unless <.05. What lab has PSA testing that is this precise? He was Stage 3 Prostate Cancer.

New Here and Glad I’ve found this Group – Anyone done Proton Therapy?
Intro Info – I’m 66 relatively good health, obviously gay. During a routine physical I had a slightly elevated PSA score of 4.3 so my primary care doctor recommended me to a Urologist. After some discussion we decided to do a biopsy. The result from the 12 cores was not what I wanted to hear. I was hoping

Investigating Proton therapy for salvage treatment following RARP
I had RARP nine months ago, and I'm investigating salvage treatment now. I am G9/10 with pT3a NO EPE but with PCa in the margins. My bone scan was negative. Prior to RARP my PSA had reached 4.9 after doubling from the previous year. I'd be very interested in hearing from others who have used proton therapy

Help 😣 Part 1
So I am on up to 6 antihistamines a day (
piriton
) which I swear contribute to the weight gain as I always gain more in hayfever season. I have been told to take these by my doctor as my hayfever got so bad and I do not want to go on steroids.

Piriton.
I am taking Warfarin for AF. As I have Dermatitis I take Fexofenadine which does help. I was told by a friend to also take Piraton. I do need something else as it gives me a lot of itching.. It's just about impossible to get an appointment with the doctor. The pharmacist said she won't interfere

Issues with Radiation Therapy and the location of the heart
Has anyone had issues with Radiation Therapy and the location of their heart? I went for my consult and they said that I have to have my expanders reduced more than the 180cc that I had removed before my consultation. Wondering if my "assigned" radiation oncologist really knows what they are doing, since

Piriton??
She couldn't give me any other medication but did suggest I try
Piriton
4mg to help with sleep and it makes you drowsy. I only worry that yes it will make me drowsy but will it be enough to send me to sleep? I have had sleeping pills in the past but they've never out weighed the pain.

Lactose In NDT and Possible Milk Intolerance dilemma 🤔
I have since tried going dairy free but have noticed that there is Lactose in the Thyroid-S and in
Piriton
which I use on occasions when I have a sinus sneeze melt down (the
Piriton
does help calm me down). I am not sure if the Lastose in the Thyroid-S is significant enough to be concerned or not!
