You have completed the hardest part of this journey, you made a treatment decision. It's normal to be scared, this is a big thing to go through. Relax. In a few short days you will start getting rid of the cancer. You can push this aside and start enjoying life again. You can gain some normalcy again.

Be positive. You are going to beat this crap. You are a warrior.

I'm currently in RT but not proton. That would have been my treatment of choice but insurance didn't cover it. I think it's the least damaging yet curing form of RT. I wish you luck on your journey. Keep us posted. Me, after today I'll be halfway thru my IMRT treatment and so far it's been easy. I only hope the remainder of the treatments are as easy as this has been! Wishing you health and wishing you well!
