Do You Know Your Pulse?
Your heartbeat is the most fundamental rhythm in your life, signalling the regular pumping of your heart as it propels blood carrying oxygen and nutrients to the rest of your body. We take the regular beating completely for granted, never giving it a second thought until the elegant control process

Right phrenic nerve paralysis
Path from RP showed extensive perineural involvement. No other risk factors for phrenic nerve paralysis. Haven't talked to MO yet, but sure concerned it's tumor invasion. PSA still <0.04.

My MO suspects that I am non-metastatic, castration resistant but will not approve any treatment until metastases develop.
Gleason 9 at diagnosis, BRACA 2 germline and somatic. RP five years ago but cancer escaped the capsule; PSA of around 2.5 after surgery. Had radiation to pelvic area a few months later along with Eligard injection. Renewed Eligard after 3 months and PSA went down to undetectable. T was close to zero

My Research into thyroid tissue growing back after TT🤔
I had full TT in 2019 due to graves thyrotoxicosis, as some members will know I had a US scan performed in 2022 for a Parathyroid adenoma, the surgeon noted a nodule of 6/7 on the left side, but nothing else.I went on to have the F18 pet scan to determine what the nodule was, but a mass of (14x7x21)

Just wondering whether any members have had this test? I'm not really thinking about those who have had a B12 deficiency (or suspected Pernicious Anaemia) followed up by this test. Rather has anyone had done spontaneously as the link below appears to imply. As I read it, the words say GPC should

Is it worth doing pernicious anemia test with active B12 of 68?
I'm working on getting my levels of B12, folate, ferritin and D up to ideal levels, if I can, for my thyroid. I recently got a B12 result from monitor my health of 68 pmol/L (range 38-210). I have read that you can still have B12 deficiency even if your B12 is around my level (I heard over 70 is needed

New PA diagnosis
Hi all Recently found to have autoimmune gastritis with stomach polyps. I also have Hashimotos (autoimmune thyroid addressed & on meds) and ckd stage 3 I was given the B12 loading dose of 6 injections. I read since a high intake of B12 is not good for the kidneys? Does anyone know if this is the case

Terrified Before Appointment

No thyroid
Hi, all the posts are about thyroid problems and taking levo for underactive thyroid, I'm taking levo 50mg and 75mg on alternate days. Can anyone tell me if taking tiromel or the unipharma tablets would be any use fo r someone who has had a total thyroidectomy. At the moment I feel as though I'm sleeping

Medication not working
I’ve had rheumatoid arthritis for nearly 20years. I’ve tried, methotrexate, Arava, adalimimab, entanercept, ruituxan, filgotinib, baracitinib and a few others that aren’t biologics. The problem is, they don’t work for me. Has anyone else had this issue and if so what are you taking now. I’m at my wits
