Should I use GTN spray?
Occasionally I have ‘Pain’ (more like cramp) in left forearm but not in chest. I have recently diagnosed unstable Angina and 1 stent fitted and waiting for #2. Should I use GTN SPRAY?

Telling my car insurer about my recent cardiac arrest.
I went to A&E with chest pains on the 16th of April, where I was whisked to Wythenshawe University Hospital catheter lab, where I arrested and was revived after 8 minutes. A stent and a balloon and I'm fine again - walking, mowing the lawn and light cycling. Apparently I don't need to inform the DVLA

Asking a cardiologist to re-evaluate an angiogram? Possibility of something being overlooked?
I'm posting this to ask if anyone has had to have a second angiogram because the first may have overlooked something or something needs to be clarified? Hopefully the following will make what I mean clear. Apologies for the lengthy post though. In March this year I had a heart attack and after an angiogram

New here, cabg’ed
I’m new here. Cabg x 5 about 7 weeks ago. Dropped the codeine after about 2 weeks (weird dreams!) and slowly reading paracetamol. Following the advice, slowing increasing duration, not intensity of walking and only real problem is drain holes (2 of 3) not healing properly and starting a steroid cream

High Cholesterol
Hi, anyone else experience high cholesterol despite having a healthy weigh/diet? I’m 35 and so not smoke. Currently feeling so anxious, my cholesterol is high 5.7 😢 the nurse further scared me by saying how this increases my risk of heart attack and stroke. I do experience chest heaviness and palpitations

PCa and now bladder cancer and kidney problems.
I was diagnosed with PCa over two years ago and I remain hormone sensitive with Lupron shots, and Zytiga + p. But the last month has been terrible. Passing urine became so difficult that Mayo urologist put in a Foley catheter 30+ days ago. I don’t like it but hey, I’m not getting up to pee 4-5 x / night

2 heart attacks in 6 weeks
Hi there, I need some support. My 60 year old husband had a heart attack 6 weeks ago, had a stent fitted, and came home from hospital with a shed load of pills. Today he woke up with chest pain, although different to last one. Back in hospital, another heart attack diagnosed. He’s being transferred to

Angina problem
My husband had an angiogram over a year ago and although he had 3 blockages he was told it wasn't bad enough for a stent. Will he receive any further checks soon ?

Chest pain/pressure
Hi, I have previously suffered two HA’s and received a stent in April last year. I am really fit and regularly walk 10-12 miles a day. I also exercise with weights a couple of days a week. Over the last 2-3 weeks I’ve noticed that I’ve started getting chest pain. I suffer with GERD so can’t really distinguish
