14 months post ablation, 3 months with loop recorder
I'm now 14 months post ablation, and just had my 3 month loop recorder eval at the device clinic for the results. No AFib, no eptopics, no unusual rythmns! Still waiting to hear if the clinical trial evaluating the efficacy of continued DOAC is still enrolling participants. I'm still on Eliquis.

More meds
Had a partial knee replacement on 22nd Nov. I made sure to inform surgeon and Anaesthetist that I have SVT & AF and the meds I’m on, Bisoprolol & Flecainaide. To ensure the extra they’ll give me is compatible. The extras are now a blood thinner Eliquis and opiate Oxycodone. Well, how to know what’s

Hi to you all I am new here but not new to APS. I was diagnosed with Protein S deficiency in 2008. My doctor put me on a baby aspirin a day. I had three miscarriages after two healthy children in 2010. In 2012 I had a pulmonary embolism and bloodwork showed APS. I was placed on Coumadin with a recommended

18 days post cryo-balloon ablation update
Here is another update on my post ablation journey. I hope it helps anyone who is considering an ablation. I have not had another migraine with aura since day 12. I have had some mild headaches still however. Still suffering from some ectopics daily, but I would not consider them to bothersome. Other

I AM ON STUDY TRANSPLANT LIST
I signed up at my Transplant Hospital to be one of the study participants in the hep C+ deceased kidney transplant recipients. The transplant doctor said it could be three days or 70 days until I receive a kidney, but it will not be waiting four more years on the Wait List. I was put on the Wait List

WHETHER TO COME OFF AMIODARONE - DIFFICULT DECISION.
My husband suffered a heart attack 12 months ago with mild to moderate damage. Stents were put in which went well, but 4 hours later he went into fast AF. Amiodarone was given intravenously which stopped the AF at first but during the night he kept switching between sinus rhythm and AF. He was then

Can Flutter cause high Blood Pressure ?
Before my first flutter in April, I was really happy with my blood pressure at 124/78 (ish). It had been like that for few years. Back in 1995 when I was single and used to be 'out on the town' quite regularly, it was around 150/95 and my doctor wanted me on BP pills for life... The nurse told me (

CBD oil and AF
Thinking of taking CBD oil for arthritis (no THC). Does anyone know of problems taking this with AF, I haven't had an episode in over a year, or any reactions with Eliquis?

Hi All, I am currently recovering from my cryo-ablation. I decided to write about my experiences as to possibly help others. This forum had been such a great place for support and learning for me that I want to give something back. I often commented on the forum, but I never fully introduced myself in

Has anyone taken clopidogrel (plavix) and aspirin after severe bleeding from the bladder on xarelto, Eliquis, and warfarin. have atrial fib
I have atrial fibrillation. I went off of blood thinners due to extreme bleeding from my bladder when taking blood thinners. I then had a massive stroke and have recently been put on clopidogrel and aspirin but I am still bleeding heavily from bladder with very large clots. Any suggestions?

Heart Rate Drop
Hi all, my heart drops to 39 or 40 once daily or so and I’m getting worried as don’t have cardiologist at the moment. I’m on Eliquis and Tildiem (60mg twice daily). Is this common? Also my HR went to 197 the other day then returned to normal. Confused. Thank you for any help.

Taking Clarythromycin with AF!
Hi everyone recently diagnosed and taking Bisoprolol and Eliquis. I have got a Chest Infection and have been prescribed Clarithromycin. I am worried about taking this as it says on the leaflet that it shouldn't be taken if you have got a Heart Rhythm Disorder. Do you think this applies to A Fib. Also

Hi I am new to forum and have a question.
Hi my name is Jenny and I have been lurking since August when I was diagnosed with Afib. I have had an Echo Cardiogram which came back clear for any other problems. I have had a few attacks now, the last one being three weeks ago when they upped my Bisoprolol to 5mg daily. I am also on Eliquis Blood

abnormal liver function test result
I have been taking eliquis for approx.18months, the last 6 months my alkaline phosphatase blood tests result for my liver have come back abnormal. I also take Bisoporal. I'm fortunate to have a very good GP looking after me, but was wondering if anyone has had liver problems whilst on these medications

Developed a 2nd dvt after resuming eliquis
Talked too soon :( I stopped taking eliquis end of June and am back to taking xarelto starting August. I was on eliquis for 3 months and were the worst of my life. Somehow i managed to develop a new dvt on the same leg (right) as last one, different spot. Feeling so discouraged... i know it all gets
