I have been taking eliquis for approx.18months, the last 6 months my alkaline phosphatase blood tests result for my liver have come back abnormal. I also take Bisoporal.
I'm fortunate to have a very good GP looking after me, but was wondering if anyone has had liver problems whilst on these medications ?
Thankyou.

I have a raised level of alkaline phosphatase too with a reading of about 150. I had a bone profile test done and was found to be low in calcium. Now taking calcium tabs and due to have liver test again shortly. I’ve been taking Apixaban for six years and cardiologist felt it was nothing to be concerned about.
I had raised alk phos after a year on apixaban. It has gradually reduced . Pre surgery last month was normal. Surgeon said variations somewhat above normal are nothing to worry about.
I did read that fasting bloods are more accurate and eating before liver blood tests affected those with certain blood groups more tban others. I know group O was one as that's mine!!
I had raised liver enzymes (ALT but mainly GGT) when first diagnosed with AF. It is more than possible that these were related to my pre-AF drinking.
After abstaining from alcohol and being prescribed rivaroxaban and bisoprolol my enzymes (ALT, APT and GGT) generally rose although they fell again at the next six monthly test.
After my ablation I was on Amiodarone for three months; during this period the levels stayed where they were and only GGT was above normal. After I came of amiodarone, my levels continued to fall and all are now normal.
