Proctitis sigmoidoscopy outcome
I had a flexible sigmoidoscopy today. I was there for 3 hours, alone and feeling sad it was Valentines Day! I also feel confused by the result. The endoscopist was saying things like it all looks very good. No reference was made in the report to haemorrhoids. It refers only to mild proctitis to 10cm

Old Crohnie newbie here
Hi all, I was fifty earlier this year and have lived with Crohn's for approx 36 years, so consider myself something of a Crohn's veteran now. Until last year I thought I was doing okay on Azathioprine and a low dose of Pentasa, following my last surgery 11 years ago, which left me with only approx 1.1

Newly diagnoised
So after 4 years of pain I have finally been diagnosed with 'mild crohns'. Had a endoscopy the beginning of this year and being sent for MRE and possibly a capsule endoscopy too. Does anyone have any tips of trying to pin point your triggers, I've been keeping a food diary lately but can't see much connection

Indeterminate colitis
I was diagnosed with indeterminate colitis and been on Pentasa 4x500mg a day. I now have to take folic acid and vitamin D for deficiency as well. I now feel worse. Has anyone else felt worse taking folic acid? I also have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and have had an underactive thyroid for many years

Am I still in a flare? - advice if you've had experience please
Hi there, I was diagnosed with UC in May and tried Asacol enemas, Colifoam enemas and Pentasa to get it under control but nothing worked until I was given 8 weeks of Prednisolone. I went back to my Consultant for follow-up when I finished the Pred. and we had a chat. He's not convinced my flare is over
