Problems with Mesalazine
Hello. I was diagnosed with UC 5 years ago and put on 4000mg a day and 3 suppositories a week. I don’t feel well with water retention and ITI’s. My calprotectin test is 8. Could Pentasa cause my symptoms?

Random fevers Crohns
Hello I have been diagnosed with Crohn's for just under a year. I have spent most of the year on steroids and I also take biological treatment Adalimumab and Pentasa. I managed to get off steroids a couple of months ago but started to have some flare symptoms. So my Adalimumab dose was increased.

Headaches with Crohn’s
Hello I have been diagnosed with Crohn’s for just less than a year. Still battling to get it fully under control, currently taking Adalimumab and Pentasa. One of my worst symptoms when having a flare is headaches in the front of my head. The headaches never stop until my flare is back under control

Pentasa - how did others find?
I’m on 2 tablets twice a day and admittedly have only been taking it for a week but literally the day after I started taking it my UC symptoms got significantly worse, I don’t know if it’s normal and I should stick with it? They’ve continued to be this bad through every time I’ve taken it.

Crohns treatment
Hi, I’m new to this site and was diagnosed last summer with Crohns. I was started on Pentasa, which unfortunately did not keep the disease at bay and I suffered a severe flare and have been on steroids off and on since December. I have since been on Adalimumab for 12 weeks and have been off the steroids

Will I ever be able to go out without thinking I’m going to s**t myself!
Sorry for the crude title but I’m fed up now. I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in December. I’d had symptoms since March 2018 and took this long to be diagnosed. Anyways I’ve had two lots of a 6 week steroid course and I’m on pentasa. Everytime I take the steroids it improves. The bleeding and

Hi all, I hope everyone is as well as can be at the moment. I was diagnosed roughly 2 years ago and put on pentasa suppositories. October time last year I reported to my gastro doc that I was having more blood & mucus. She requested a calprotectin test which came back as elevated then put me on pentasa

Pentasa 2 500mg twice a day
Hi does this seem correct for ulcerative colitis. I had a private prescription from the consultant switched to nhs because it was so much cheaper and this is what it’s come out as? That seems a lot? Also it takes to take for 2 months but I’ve only been given a 100 tablets?
