Chrohns medication advice

Hi,

I was diagnosed with ileitis chrohns disease 27th may last year! Was such a fight to even get a colonoscopy, the arguing and doctors appointments I had to get was ridiculous. Today I had my first gastroenterology appointment and was given Pentasa Slow Release Tablets 1g and mri in three months to check bowels and liver. Anyone have any problems with this medication.

Obviously it’s early days & starting off low.

Any advise is good advice. I understand people have chrohns a lot worse and I’m very lucky to only have it at the start/end off my colon & not all off it. But pain is pain! And I can’t deal with the flare up😭

Also have Gilbert syndrome so probably doesn’t help my stomach!
