Does anyone actually have an NHS 'named patient basis' for NDT?
Hi all, I hope everyone is well . I am doing a lot better nowadays, having been on Armour for about 9 months now. My memory is much better, I have more energy (and a full-time job in health research :) ), my muscles no longer ache, and I don't have random dizzy/fainting spells. My stomach bloating is

Low Iron and Vitamin D
My daughter has just received her ferritin results back from her GP. She hasn’t been issued with any iron tablets the graph shows she’s within the normal range but it is down at the bottom end when it needs to be at an optimal level, so I've read, My question is, can anyone recommend a good Iron vitamin

8 months since first post..new results and questions
8 months on from my first noobie post on the forum asking for help. I’m pretty pleased with this, feeling so much better than I did, the advice here has been life changing. Still work to do, very achy, limited capacity to do anything outside of turning up to work/home stuff but that is an improvement

Feeling exhausted.
Hi everyone. I had a complete thyroidectomy in 1990 . It went haywire when I was pregnant and until 2015 I was fit and healthy on 175mg thyroxine daily. Then it became irratic and I’ve struggled since with several changes to my thyroxine. I’ve just had the dose lowered again from 125mg daily, to 100mg

Latest Bloods
Hi All I have tried since 26th October 2022 to increase my T3 with Liothyronine. A very tiny amount of 1.25mcg at night, it seemed to be working fine until 2 days after my blood test - high heart rate and increased sweating at night, feeling too hot during the day, despite the weather being so cold

muscle fatigue
Hi Friends! I’ve been struggling with full body muscle fatigue and spasms for the last week or so. It feels as if the muscles around my outer ribs and down my flank are soooo sore, but I lead a dedicate lifestyle working from home. I haven’t done anything to cause the muscle fatigue and pressure.

I haven’t been very present in the group this last week. It’s been a very up and down time. Briefly I’ve had an awful time, feeling confused, exhausted and abandoned. One doctor on a telephone call upped my pred dose from 15 to 30, increased my painkillers for the better. After several bad nights both

Pls help with blood tests
Hi there, I hope someone can help here. My pain started initially with my feet as burning feet and then a lot of pain in different areas of the feet. That was 2 years ago.. My gp did some test and they only found that my LDL Colesterol was raised and deficiency of vitamin D. I was referred to neurology

Second GP visit following private Thyroid Panel
Hi Looking for some guidance please. I was picked up on a blood test about 18 months ago and am now taking Levothyroxine. I haven't seen much improvement (or side effects) but am now considered "managed" by the GP as my TSH is now within range. I had asked for further test and these were declined so
