Need advice on managing ADHD as an adult & parent
And that cycle has repeated itself dozens and dozens of times since my early 20s when I first really started struggling with all of this...and then
parenting
put me over the edge. Constant interruptions, constant clutter, impossible to keep schedules and sleep etc..

my 5 year old daughter was recently diagnosed with ADHD and ODD by a child psychiatrist. She has always been a blessing to us but the last guests she had just seemed like she never stopped going and conversations with her are the same way. However I donāt know if itās a misconception that if you have

Update
I don't know if she has ever stopped to question whether her method of
parenting
is the best way for somebody. I think she just thinks that she knows me well enough, but nope.

Undiagnosed kids changing from homeschool to public school
He bottles up his feelings as his mom's house (she's the strict disciplinarian type of parent), and he unleashes them at mine (I use a gentler, more understanding approach to
parenting
, which can make me a pushover sometimes).

2.5 year old, new pediatrician referring him to a specialist for testing
My mom mentioned she would never allow āmedications or labels,ā they very much practiced children led
parenting
which basically meant feral kids (amazing we all turned out well). She said numerous teachers or doctors would make comments and itās best to ignore them.

Older Parent (71) with Daghter (mid 20's) Recently ADD Inattentive
So much of the
parenting

How do I follow through?! Looking for parenting strategies
I am a single mother of 2 children (10F and 13F). I have and ADHD dx and my oldest child does as well. I am increasingly frustrated with myself and how I manage my household. I suck at follow through! I come up with awesome ideas to get the kids to help me with chores or to stay on top of them, but then

Parenting A Child with ADHD book
Hi y'all! I am a mom of 2 wonderful children who have ADHD. I have been studying ADHD since my daughter was little (now 16) and I wanted to be able to give back to the communities that have helped me through my journeys. I cannot even count how many CHADD questionaires I have filled out in her lifetime

He can at times have tantrums when he wants his own way (as I thought normal for many 2.5 year olds learning boundaries do) But this report really has me doubting my
parenting
skills and worrying something is wrong with him or the wrong environment for him; as to me he displays very good with motor
