General pain
Been on ibuprofen,
paracetamol
and codeine which help. But I hate the effects of the codeine. I found Nettle Balm on the Internet (hand made with beeswax) and I've found it really takes the edge of the pain.

Struggling with outcome of Rheumy Consultation
The best he has to offer is keep taking the codine and
paracetamol
daily exercises might help. Oh and I'll have a telephone consultation in 3 months. Surely I can't be the only person with my particular set of spanners in the works /issues. Any advise is greatly appreciated

Chest pain after viscous bout of Afib?
I tried taking
paracetamol
which had no effect. The pain did get better when l lay down. I did discover Solpadene helped to ease the pain. Woke up this morning still the same pain in chest. Blood pressure also a bit high (170/90)- normally around the 125/74 mark.

Any ideas?
My husband isnt the type to complain at pain - he's gone 3 years without even a
paracetamol
. I've no idea what to think, we're just waiting to see if it either gets worse or better - but feels quite an uncomfortable situation.

The seemingly good, bad and ugly rheumatologists
I can take
paracetamol
for the pain or stiffness but only if desperate ! Not a clue what is wrong with me (his words) but referred to the default fibromyalgia when all else fails. Being referred back to the second rheumatologist ‘care’ and hope this does not result in another U turn.

Painful Breast
Also cocodamol,
paracetamol
and ibuprofen do nothing to relive the symptoms. The feedback I received from last time was that she should receive a CT scan as Mammograms and not conclusive. Her situation has not involved and therefore, I am looking for further possible answers to her problem.

2nd trimester pain - fibroids?
Paracetamol
type of meds not helping much. Anti spasm meds helping a bit. I am trying to keep warm and to reduce gas inducing beans and such and to avoid seated positions for a long time. Any other ideas? Or any other potential sources for the pain?

⁹Suspect 1mg was too low, next step?
One
paracetamol
reduced it about 90%. Day 3 today, still there, both sides but more on left side. However, so far none of the hand and wrist joint aches have re-appeared. So now I am confused. I had no stiff neck before I upped the dose by 5mg but now I have reduced again it has kicked in.

seems no one can help
They have now made an appointment with the pain specialist who he has seen before and he gave him tramadol which didn’t work and
paracetamol
. The Drs at emergency gave him
paracetamol
and codine which doesn’t work either . It’s seems only the anti- inflammatory drugs work .

PMR and Pfizer Covid Vaccine
He took
paracetamol
& used Bio Freeze, similar to deep heat. He got progressively worse, a GP diagnosed Frozen Shoulder over the phone, prescribed Co-Codamol & Naproxen. Within days he was in a state of collapse, couldn’t walk and lost a lot of weight.

Prescribed Naproxine 250 twice a day for hip bursitis is that dangerous with Pred
Suggested I take up to 4g of
Paracetamol
if necessary. Just read of NHS site that Naproxine and Pred are not compatible. Is this true for short time use? If so what can I ask for instead.

If not Temporal Arteritis, what could it be?
It improves with
paracetamol
taken at regular intervals but at certain angles my head really hurts, albeit briefly. I’m pretty sure it’s not GCA because there are no vision or jaw involvement, but what else could it be?

Hospital stay: expecting too much?
The morphine and
paracetamol
was increased and this helped. I stayed for 3 days and treatment was fine. I have had a few problems since discharge and had to go to A&E last Monday as I had an allergic reaction to the morphine.

GCA and Earache
Paracetamol
and codeine helped a bit but I had a niggling feeling that this didn’t seem right, I know my body. I was very tired, jaw hurt when chewing and was losing weight. I was eating only yoghurt and soup.

Latest re -Lupus and Covid?
I rang the GP and had a locum call back but his only suggestion was
paracetamol
. I asked about Covid treatment for Lupus patients but he did not seem to know whether this was still available. I have tried the NHS site but it is not clear whether my wife is eligible or not .

I took
paracetamol
which, to be honest, didn't do much so took myself off to bed. This morning I feel the same so I have just taken an extra 3mg of pred.....my dose is 5mg.....now I wait and see!!! I'd like to get my hands on the person who said this usually only lasts 2 years!!!

tooth pain & pregnancy
I've also been given the okay to use orajel but I feel taking all this is loads as I'm taking
paracetamol
also and using a cold compress. The tooth is cracked as it's been ongoing for months but not this bad and only ever lasted a day I've had this for 3 days and barely sleeping due to the pain.
