Effects of azithromycin on blood pressure
I have recently been prescribed azithromycin long term three times a week. Has anyone had their blood pressure go up as a result of taking this whilst also being treated for high blood pressure and AF with Digoxin cadesartan and bisoprolol. I have been told by the consultant that the digoxin is a low

KardiaMobile ECG interpretation
I have had a KardiaMobile 2 lead device for about 4 years. In that time I have relied on the determination of Normal, Afib, Bradycardia, inconclusive and very occasionally PVCs along with my 30 second heartrate. However, I have not really paid much attention to the trace pattern. I have seen some somewhat

AFib getting better but not the symptoms?
About 9 weeks ago I went into AFib for the 4th time. I await a telephone consultation with Barts. The strange thing is my iWatch now says I’m mainly in Sinus rhythm. This has never happened before as each time I’ve needed an ablation. Seems like good news, however I still have the same old symptoms.

when 2 cardiologist tells you one thing and another tells you a it completely different issue or is it??
im very disappointed It seems out of the 3 cardiologists I have seen 2 had told me I had enlarged left ventricle and one even drawed me a diagram to show me where about the heart this was lower left side. I had a blood test done by Gp and BNP levels was raised she seemed alarmed and said there

COGANS SYNDROME
There are around 500 cases of this in the world, so is extremely rare, which means diagnosis becomes even more difficult. CG as its referred to is a form of multi vessel vasculitis so symptons end up pretty broad. Why so few cases is a lot of researchers believe there a lot of undiagnosed cases out

Blood pressure medication
My doctor has changed my BP medication from Amlodipine to Candesartan because it caused serious problems with my gums. The problem is one of the possible side effects with Candesartan is dizziness which I have a phobia of. She has only put me on a low dose 4mg but I am afraid to take them. Has anyone

vitamin d advice please
I’m sub clinic apparently. I plan to start V D but my first look at what’s available is confusing. Is there more than one V D as I see some are called D3? Is the RDA amount available or do you just take lots to make it up. I’m 61 female with AI rheumatoid conditions and veggie.

Hi folks, So I have just had my cholesterol test done by my GP with the following results. HDL - 1.5 LDL - 6.8 TRIGLYCERIDES - 1.7 Total 8.3 risk factor 26% They want to start me on Statins asap. I am keen to avoid drugs and believe that some of the increased numbers above could actually be good
