how to improve appetite/consume more calories. Pls help!
My heart is broken. My dad’s cancer had progressed, he has started chemo but overall is very unwell. He’s lost almost 30 pounds in the last few months and is having a lot of pain. We have to help him with getting out of the bed and at times putting on his shoes and clothes. All the pain medicine he used

Selegiline side effects
Hi All. Due to drug shortages we've been unable to get rasagiline and had to swap to selegiline. Since the swap mum has had lots of unusual bleeding and the GP thinks it may be a side effect of the selegiline. Just wondered if anyone else has had similar problems and if so how did you resolve things?

My glove upgrade lost its buzz..
Hi, My PD/Tass glove prototype seems to have lost its “buzz” when my partner swapped the old/vinyl look (on the right in the picture) with the clean new look (on the left in the picture). Using the SAME power/arduino etc. it seemed that it should work great until I put them on my hands and realized

Unexplained headaches
Had to see a private rheumie earlier this year for PMR diagnosis as nhs rheumie and GP were trying to say I had fibromyalgia. Was told to start on 10mgs of pred for one week and if that didn’t help was to increase to 15mgs and start on usual nhs method of tapering. I did have to go to the 15 mgs and

Riboflavin (b2) supplementation is a no-brainer for Parkinsons
Riboflavin (b2) is a complete no-brainer. 0 side effects and dirt cheap. Especially if your second and third toes any toenails are full of fungus/athletes foot. The Chinese believe that your second and third toe is a place where toxins leave the body. The Chinese believe PD is “stuck” in fight or

DVLA: taking the doubt out of notifying them?
Having read countless posts from individuals receiving a glaucoma diagnosis and not knowing whether they need to inform DVLA, I have wondered why Consultants aren’t required to shove a DVLA notification form firmly into your hand if you have a diagnosis of glaucoma in both eyes. It would take the confusion

gallbladder post surgery
I’m recovering from gallbladder surgery, the op was a breeze and no more pain, I’ve stopped with the painkillers as they just made me dizzy , my bowels have been a bit all over but seem to be settling down and hope it was just down to anesthetic. My bellybutton wound is taking longer to heal but the

I have been dealing with a skin condition for almost 3 years. I have seen other posts like mine. One person was even trying to get on a talk show. I too have been dismissed by health providers. Looking for some assistance
Hello, I've recently become very intolerant to gluten which has been a bit of a shock. I read online that it can be triggered by anxiety and it happened at the time of a serious family crisis. Can anyone tell me if this has happened to them and if so, if it's likely to recede or am I am stuck with it

new NTG diagnosis
I’ve just been diagnosed with bilateral NTG. I think I was in shock in the consultation room, I couldn’t ask or even think of many useful questions. I have structural damage in both eyes & pressures were 20 adjusted to 18 for corneal thickness. I’ve started drops once a night. I had a funny turn yesterday

I have been told today that I am going to have to have an operation to try and halt the sight loss in my left eye😩it also involves removing my lens to avoid cataracts! There no guarantee this will work so I’m anxious to say the least. I have also been put on Acetazolamide to lower my pressures .. I
