Hi All, Thanks for any help or reassurance in advance. Me: 33-Year-Old Male. Ex smoker (as of 4 weeks ago - light smoker over the years, probably 4-pack years max). Is there a difference between Asthavent and Venteze?
I have exercise induced asthma/bronchospasm. I also have a heart condition - so because of the heart I was using Ipvent (Ipratropium Bromide) until something caused it not to be available in South Africa any more. So since then I used Venteze for a while and when that inhaler ran out I got Asthavent

Asthma inhalers and osteoporosis
I’m just wondering what effect my brown preventative inhaler - which is a steroid inhaler - will have on my bones? I don't think I was ever asked about asthma or the inhalers I was using when osteoporosis was diagnosed. Does anyone know how it will affect my bones?

Asthmatic cough in Covid times
Hi everyone! I can feel the start of my usual Autumn/Winter asthma flare up. I’m using preventer but still staring to get bouts of coughing. A couple of puffs of blue inhaler and increased fluids helps a lot. So not an issue of feeling safe and controlling it. My worry is that in Covid times, a persistent

Masks
Hi there I am new to this site and I hope someone can advise me , I have a mild form of Asthma and take one puff from my preventer inhaler twice a day, now I wish to know should I be wearing mask or not as I have seen many passengers coming onto the buses saying they have asthma and not wearing a mask

Ongoing asthma issues - recovery period
Hi all, Around 15 weeks ago I had several severe asthma attacks. I've been recovering since then and have made good progress in terms of being comfortable in the house, but my mobility remains limited. I can move around the house okay, but I'm still effectively housebound - if I walk for any real distance

Recovering from Covid-19!
Whelp. As if the b12 deficiency wasn’t enough, my husband caught Covid at work and then I got it! After 2 weeks of hell (he ended up w/pneumonia and I ended up with tachycardia (rapid resting heartbeat) and breathing issues that have me on two inhalers - a steroid and rescue) I ended up in the ER yesterday

Return to work during Pandemic - reasonable adjustments?
8th September 2020. Hi, I have asthma which is controlled with steroid preventer inhaler and my reliever inhaler. I am in the 'clinically vulnerable' but not 'clinically extremely vulnerable' category. Despite not being told to shield, I have in effect been doing so as I am very concerned about the

I developed a wheeze/whistle at night at beginning of lockdown and was diagnosed by telephone with asthma (at age 56) and given inhalers. (Have not yet had lung function test due to Covid) so still not really confirmed. I then developed chest pains which feel like they are where you’d typically recognise

Week 5 Run 3 - I DID IT!!!
Second time's the charm as they say. Thank you all for your wonderful help. I did it with the NHS app today and had Laura's soothing voice talking to me when it got tough. I also took the advice about running downhill as much as possible which I managed to do. I eschewed my normal route (which probably
