High dose Seretide

Is anyone out there taking more than 1000mic gram Seritide or direct equivalent Sirdupla per day using an inhaler . This will be the same as 2puffs twice daily of the 250/25 inhaler

Hi I'm taking 250/4 puffs morning and night equivalent to 2000 a day. Prescribed by a Gp a few months ago as been waiting 10 months for a chest clinic appointment and a mess. This was by telephone have been coughing and breathless for over a year. Have seen nurses but no doctor in this time. Why do you ask?

Thanks for this —. I have been advised that 1000micg is the maximum permissible dose but as in all things there can be exceptions depending on each individual situation . Hope you can get stabilised soon and have the medical help you need at present .

I have 1000mcg seretide plus 1000mcg flixotide - prescribed by my consultant, but I’m severe/brittle and also have ipatropium, salbutamol and saline nebs.
