Results Back.....Please help
Couple of months ago I decided to move my 10mcg T3 away from my usual morning waking time, basically to see if it helped my awful morning anxiety. I also dropped my T4 dose from 125mcg (which I have been on for many years and it usually sits at a normal place within the range) down to 100mcg as on my

Do medication stop dystonia muscle attacks?
Just wondering if medication like diazepam works for dystonia caused by fnd? Or does it not work for dystonia caused by fnd. Wondering because I know the meds for epileptic seizures don't work for non epileptic seizures

I’m still on 100mg of Sertraline with the occasional diazepam as and when needed during anxiety spikes. I was able to meet up with work friends despite waking up with anxiety so intense I was throwing up. It brought it right down and I barely thought about my tinnitus whilst there despite the fact I

Major Setback (Tinnitus Anxiety)
I was just here posting about how Sertraline was helping me to manage my anxiety and slowly be able to try and habituate to my new chemo heightened tinnitus. Only to get no sleep last night and have such bad anxiety today that I threw up my dinner, even taking diazepam didn’t help. And of course being

cortisol and adrenaline - stress system seems broken - exaggerated response to normal stress
My thyroid blood tests are normal, so I don’t have a thyroid condition - though I don’t know what I do have, as I had de Quervain’s thyroiditis eight years ago, and I haven’t been the same since. My recent blood test showed normal cortisol too. That’s if you say that my 3pm finger prick is a morning

Anxiety & urine problems
I’ve posted a few times on this wonderful forum about problems with stress & anxiety. A question I’ve never asked concerns bladder Incontinence. When I took diazepam, I had no problems. However recently I’ve found that if I wake up in the morning & the toilet is being used, I panic & rush to go downstairs

Me again, I think my anxiety about my thyroid is hitting hard
I’m getting so overwhelmed and confused to be honest about how to be treated properly like with my medication. Like I take. 125mg Levo in morning. 10mg citalopram (now changing to vortioxetine for my anxiety and depression) 20mg Omeprazole ( I take this always after 4 hours from levo) 225mg pregablin

Tinnitus and Masking
see my bio From 1981 to 2021 tinnitus has gradually disapeared but reoccurs randomly. When it does reoccur i take a 5 mg diazepam to help mitigate panic attacks and also to relax head and neck muscles. In addition i use noise masking which significantly helps with tinnitus management. This is what

A Tale of Four Teeth …. and Apixaban.
Earlier this year, I posted my concerns regarding a forthcoming procedure where I had been informed that the dentist would remove four teeth and fit a cosmetic denture at the same time. All of the teeth were upper situated - one right in the front (which was a leaking abscess) and three, all close together

Was fine till I wasn’t .
I was doing okay today for me. I was semi productive dishes laundry stuff like that . All of a sudden around 930 a weird thought creeped into my brain . It was what if my body isn’t breathing on its own. Like I’m only breathing because I’m making myself do it. Then full blown panic attack and now I

‘Little evidence’ whether or not most antidepressants work for chronic pain
Last year, I took a fairly low dose of Amitriptyline for the effects of shingles - primarily pain. I think it helped a bit - and it definitely seemed to help me sleep. But the side effects were unpleasant. (Tiredness, especially in the morning. Dry mouth.) Though in such situations, it is always going

entering an anxious time
Hello everyone. I am in a very anxious time right now as my husband is in the hospital with heart-related symptoms. He previously had 9 stents put in 17 years ago, as well as a triple bypass in 2020. He has what are called "silent MI's" (silent heart attacks) in that they don't show up on any non-invasive

Histamine Panic Attack
Well, what a day yesterday. Been feeling fine for months, aware that we're in high tree pollen season so have been monitoring my symptoms-taken the odd antihistamine when the light headedness kicks in and a general 'nervy' feeling. Yesterday I was busy with craft work and was probably just over 4 hours
