should I reduce my Oestrogen gel to one pump a day?
My GP agreed to start me on vagifem as I was given
Ovestin
, but that didn’t help. For the first two weeks of taking it daily this helped brilliant. However, after cutting it down to three a week, I got symptoms back. I can’t stop taking it everyday as if I do my symptoms are unbearable.

Living with cancer
Hi All, Hope you are all keeping strong and positive, which is not always easy! I was wondering if there is anybody out there who is or has been in my situation. I am stage 3C HGS with three surgeries and three lots of chemo. My surgery was a failure last year as they could not remove all the cancer

Referral from Wales to England - any experience?
Hi. I'm HGSOC stage IVb diagnosed in Feb. Just had CT scan following 3rd cycle of carboplatin/paclitaxol and 2nd of Avastin. CA125 has reduced from 374 pre-chemo to 26 post 2nd cycle which I'm hoping is a positive sign! I have spread to my liver and spleen and have been told surgery will only be an option

Where do I go from here?
Hi lovely ladies. Ok, so, diagnosed April 2021 Stage 1V HGSOC with spread to lymph nodes in neck and chest. No option of surgery because of spread. 6 rounds of Paclitaxel/Carboplatin. Reduction in tumour. Straight on to Avastin plus Olaparib (HRD negative). No more cancer in lymph nodes but slight progression

question about chemo for recurring tumour
hi, My husband was diagnosed with GBM4 in December 2021. He has had an enlarged biopsy, a removal of tumour, radiotherapy x 2, months of TMZ and avastin. We’ve had 6 months of stable scans and no chemo which has been amazing. Recent scan showed regrowth and the oncologist is recommending lomustine

Should I discontinue Tecentriq/Avastin infusion therapy?
Had one infusion, side effect relentless diarrhea, then no bowel movement for 5 days, with stomach pain that had me near suicidal!Drank 16oz of hot peppermint ginger tea, incontinent for 2 days. Finally stabilized after 7th level of hell. Can't see risking another try.

chemotherapy followed by maintenance avastin
I am getting carbo/taxol and my CA125 is 114. After 6 cycles the doctor wants to start avastin as maintenance. I am afraid that stopping the chemo and having only avastin won't keep the CA 125 down. Has anyone received maintenance avastin having a high CA125? Did it keep the CA125 at the same level

Gemzar was tough
I spent many years on Avastin since 2008 diagnosis. When I came out of remission from it. I was put on carbo/Gemzar. I had a bad reaction to the Carbo, so I had 10 treatments of Gemzar. I finally had to ask Onco to stop because I was losing my quality of life. Now that I’m off Gemzar, I’m hoping

Oncologist gives me 6 months to a year more of life
Both lobes cirrhotic, necrotic with little hope for improvement. No metastatic disease but cancer is having a field day. Onco suggested I look into combo of Avastin + Tecentriq, which present an array of side effects as a trade off to slowing down the liver degradation. Does anyone have experience with

self-funded Avastin at the Christie
I am trying to gather reliable info on what it would cost to pay for a course of Avastin. I have run a search on here and other UK forums and the broad consensus is around £20, 000 but there was another recent thread on here where £46,000 was mentioned. Would appreciate any insights on this from members
