Both lobes cirrhotic, necrotic with little hope for improvement. No metastatic disease but cancer is having a field day. Onco suggested I look into combo of Avastin + Tecentriq, which present an array of side effects as a trade off to slowing down the liver degradation.
Does anyone have experience with this combination of drugs?

My husband was on this after some other meds stopped working as it had just been approved. Like all meds, it does have a long list of side effects and never know who will have what but out of all the meds he took, he felt the best on this combo with minimal side effects. He had good liver function so don't know if that made a difference but do know this drug became the new gold standard for HCC. Prayers for you as you make your decision!
Thnx for sharing hubby's experience. My liver function not good but good enuff to keep me alive for the time being. Stool is yellow and loose so Imodium twice a week for now. Covid did serious damage, frequent incontinence, low to zero energy and stamina. Drink at least 40 oz water daily. Must fight on! Ain't going down without a fight 😆
Have used milk thistle and dandelion root capsules to slow liver damage, plus nattokinase instead of aspirin to thin blood, prevent clotting. However, haven't found anything that can reverse the cancer and cirrhosis. 😥
First, my prayers are with you. I had a similar prognosis 5 years ago. I was given Y90, Nexavar then Opdivo. It has been a long road with many bumps. Have they suggested Y90 for you? My doctors feel that started the process of stability of the HCC.
