Just on Avastin now
I’ve done Chemo, and will just be on avastin now for 12 months- does anyone know if avastin affects your blood count so you can’t have it. Twice I had my chemo put back and had to have an injection for it, but don’t know if that was because of chemo or avastin. Thanks for any advice

UNEXPLAINED WEIGHT GAIN
Hello all. Hope you all feel better than I do. I'm so miserable. I'm still having Avastin every three weeks. I'm on prednisolone now 5mg. I'm a vegetarian and my diet is largely healthy. For months I've had upper abdominal pain and bloating. I had ovarian cancer last year, chemo, surgery then more chemo

Avastin
I found this site purely by accident when I asked if there was any link between Avastin and arthritis or rheumatism. I have been treated for ovarian cancer since October 2017, and follow up treatment of Avastin since June 2018. I was delighted and relieved to read that many women had suffered a range

Return to chemo
So, after only 4 months since the last chemo (cisplatin and gemcitabine) and on Avastin, i am back on chemo. It’s cisplatin and caelyx this time. Ca125 at 165, from 20 after finishing the chemo in January, and pet scan confirming bad news in the pelvic region. The regime is a bit unusual this time -

Silicone floater after Avastin Injection
I had an Avastin Injection in my left eye for WMD February 2019. Since the injection, I am seeing a circular floater that has a black ring around a white, shiny center. It floats around my vision in bright light inside and outside. It is very annoying when looking at something white. I told my retinologist

Help needed with NZ petition for funding of Avastin and Lynparza for Ovarian cancer
Hi everyone, Ovarian cancer sufferers in NZ would really like your support with signing a NZ parliamentary petition seeking funding for two key drugs. Currently we have none of the key drugs funded here, and the only way to get access is to pay for them. They are extremely expensive. I know personally

Avastin no disease progression
I just wanted to share my good news. I am OC stage 4 inoperable and have been on Avastin since January my 3 month scan results from my consultant yesterday shows no progression of the disease so the Avastin is doing its job stopping the cancer forming new blood vessels. I hope it carries on doing this
