Hi, I’m a caregiver of my husband with NHL ALCL Alk+ and Leptomenges. Took 9 weeks, multiple hospitals and doctors to diagnose summer 2017. He had 5 rounds of CHOEP and then experienced horrible headaches and a seizure which resulted in leptomeneges diagnosis and new course of chemo. After scans with

Hello, I am so glad I found this site, I have no one to talk to and just looking for some moral support, and people who are going through the same thing, and seeing what else is out there, and what to expect. Immunotherapy drug that worked for me
Hi everyone. As requested, the name of the immunotherapy drug that I was given during my clinical trial is IMFINZI. I wasn’t 100% sure because the name was never discussed with me and it wasn’t even approved outside the trial until recently (I think it was approved less than 2 years ago). I was given

My mom has HCC
I want to share my mom’s fight against HCC, she got Hepatitis C through a blood transfusion when she was only a teenager, she had successfully gone through very harsh treatments to kill the hepatitis C virus in her late 60s and has been virus free and able to enjoy life for couple of years afterwards

What should I do now???!! PLEASE help!!
My dad is still sitting in the hospital in ORMC in Orlando health since LAST Tuesday. His tests have not come back confirming or denying leptomeningeal. They say it’s still a mystery. He looked and talks like he has had a stroke which I’m wondering, however he is not confused and is alert as normal.

My daughter is 25 and receiving treatment for stage 4. She started on Opdivo, then they added Yervoy. Her cancer continued to spread so we stopped Yervoy and added Taf/Mek, and she’s in her 5th week. Meanwhile she continues to get Opdivo every 3 weeks. Her last MRI last week showed tumor shrinkage in

Opdivo
Wondering if anyone else has had opdivo attack their lungs. After being on it for just 2 months I started feeling short of breath. Saw my primary care they told me everything sounded good. Saw my oncologist about a month later for routine scans and the opdivo had made my lungs swell tremendously. I

Anyone familiar with Navelbine?
Haven't posted for awhile. Husband who was inoperable with NSCL had chemo & radiation that failed in 2016. Has been on Opdivo for one year since June 2017. Test results yesterday showed 5 new areas and Opdivo was discontinued. He will begin Navelbine. I have read about it but sometimes it helps to hear

Anxiety!
Hello, I don't post here often because it seems to not be a very active forum. I usually post on the patients forum. I didn't think I should post my massive anxiety issue on the page where people are fighting for their lives. My husband started treatment with Opdivo about 3 months ago. He progressed

Whole brain radation pros and cons
Looking at whole brain radation for brain mets. Too many for the gamma knife they say . I would love to hear if it worked , and how many side effects. I'm 55 years old with stage 4 lung cancer. just started Opdivo but doctor says I need this procedure as well . Infinzi was denied by insurance unfortunately

Husband with Stage 4 lung cancer
My husband feels very weak. Does anyone have any suggestions to help him feel stronger or is this how it is going to be? He was diagnosed a little over a year ago. Has had Chemo and is now on Opdivo.

It seems Ketruda and opdivo, not ippy has fewer toxicities
My son Max was in a clinical trial with ippy and opdivo and it destroyed his liver. https://medivizor.com/view_article/11311735?utm_campaign=website&utm_source=sendgrid.com&utm_medium=email

Opdivo Question
Hubby just had surgery to remove tumor in lung. Turns out it was melanoma. Seems to be metastasized from tumor that was removed 30 years ago on his back. He's also had colon cancer 3 times (eventually removed colon entirely), gone through radiation once and chemo twice. After this recent surgery
