Melanoma treatment Keytruda in conjunction with Yervoy. Outcomes?
My husband has melanoma, non-resectable Stage IV. He also has CLL. So far he has been treated with opdivo which reduced the tumors initially but had to be discontinued due to hemolytic anemia brought on by the CLL. Chemo was initiated which reduced his white cell count and allowed his red blood cell

Has anyone on here had their thyroid removed due to kidney cancer and getting Opdivo treatments. My TSH keeps going up and down with my treatments any suggestions?

Opdivo..What do You Know
Help. Doctor has changed mind again. He is now checking my insurance to see if it will approve me trying Opdivo. I have read about the side affects and am worried. Has anyone tried this immunotherapy drug? I read an article recently that Keytruda was doing better for certain people but it appears

Just Went To Stage 4
In the last 2 and 1/2 months, I learned my lung cancer went to my brain, had the targeted radiation treatment, had horrible side effects from the steroids, contracted pneumonia and got an infusion(first) of Opdivo. Everything has went by so quickly, no time to really process, and i'm so tired I do not

New member — husband stage IV melanoma
Hi All - my 40 yr old husband, who had a melanoma removed from his chest a few years prior and had since checked out clean, was very suddenly diagnosed with metastic melanoma this past May. Ongoing flu-like symptoms and suspected vertigo led me to take him to the ER, where we learned he had a baseball

Opdivo and double vision
Wondering if anyone else has had vision side effects from opdivo treatments. I have been responding very well after 38 treatments and suddenly woke with double vision. All sorts of tests later, no stroke. maybe optical nueritis? Single vision seems to be returning gradually. Any information is appreciated

At home , but in a lot of pain
Hi all, I'm on my second round of immunotherapy which is yervoy and opdivo. I don't seem to be having a lot of side effects other than pretty bad pain on my right side which I think is probably my liver.

Metastasize Melanoma
It is very hard when you have cancer. I had 3 different skin cancers in 2015. One being Melanoma. I saw my primary doctor in Dec 2016. I kept telling her I wasn't feeling well. I was tired, felt sick that I just couldn't explain the way I felt. She went through all my lab work and set me up to see

Opdivo vs katruda?
My husband has stage 4 nsc lung cancer. Diagnosed in 2011. He first had proton radiation therapy but mass was behind his heart so they didn't get it all. He had 2 Opdivo last year but got bilateral pneumonia and blood clots in his lung. He survived but had a hard time of it. Pet showed reduction because

Opdivo causing new problems?
I've been on Opdivo for 12 treatments. Every 2 weeks I get infusion. 3 weeks ago I started to feel extremely full after eating food. I'll admit I usually eat alot. This feeling occurred consistent ever as my eating decreased because I'd get fuller faster even after eating a small salad. Now I hardly

Husband needing prayers-please
My husband went for his 4th Opdivo treatment today was not able to do. Now in hospital with infection in both lower lobes. Also heart rate is out of control due to cancer pressing on heart. He will be having a heart procedure in the morning. He sure could use some prayers. He has inoperable lung cancer

Latest update on dramatic results with Opdivo
Hi, here are the latest pictures of my mums progress with Opdivo. It's nothing short of a miracle what we can see from the outside! The 2 fungating lesions at the inscision sites that appeared after surgery have disappeared and and on palpitation of the areas I feel no lumps at at, just scar tissue.
