Looking for advice
Are
opioids
the answer? I also saw that some people have gotten an “infusion”. What is that about? Reading all these posts from other people who have the same problem is weirdly somewhat comforting. I had no idea this problem was so widespread.

Taken off meds
The hospital doc took me off that plus all my psych meds, my Tizanadine (I am severely disabled and take no
opioids
). I felt he didn't know my trauma and what I have been through. I am trying to get back to see my psych doc that had left my clinic so I hadn't been able to see her.

RANDOM THOUGHTS , QUESTIONS, AND A MOAN OR TWO ABOUT DOCTORS AND UNECESSARY UNKINDNESS
My gp told me RLS is to small a condition to use the power of
opioids
on. Thank goodness I have a neurologist who isn't in the dark ages. I told the ignorant one that contrary to his belief RLS is the most damaging disease I have experienced . He was taken aback. At the information shared ? No.

I THINK I NEED SUPPORT
I thought when I finally found a doctor who would prescribe
opioids
for me so I could withdraw from ropinirole that things would be better. In some ways they are... I was sleeping some , more than I have in a year. I got a c-pap which is a positive . I still haven't found the right opioid.

RLS and methadone tolerance
If anyone is familiar with this, I'd be grateful to hear about your experience with
opioids
and tolerance or dose adjustments.

CHRONIC ILLNESS & PREGNANCY. WHERE TO START?
Like, how to manage my pain as I'll have to come of my medication (for which there is a lot of strong
opioids
). And basically the whole process for someone with my health or lack thereof. I tried to speak to my GP a while ago and she basically said come back when you want to start trying.

Sotalol side effects
I've had both SVT and AF ablation's. The SVT was from just after I had my first child and was severe. The ablation for that took and I was put on Verapemil (sp?) I had no further SVT and all was well. Then after 30 years I began 11 years of hell that brought me here: total gastrectomy; followed 3 years

I was on
opioids
which haven't helped much and am now taking diclofenac which seems to be easing it a little but I'm concerned about my stomach as it used to give me stomach ache despite omeprazole. I didn't find heat or ice packs particularly helpful either so I'm a little bit stuck!

Having a really hard time at the moment, just wish someone could give me the answers and tell me what to do for the best. (Long post sorry)
However, my G.P did say it's going to be a "risk and benefit situation" as
opioids
(codeine) can cause fertility issues and foetal abnormalities and NSAIDS can cause miscarriage and foetal abnormalities...

Are you taking opioids?
I've read that a significant number of cancer patients need daily opioid medications. My pain management doc is suggesting hydrocodone again. I took them for about 6 months - about 10 years ago for degenerative spinal stenosis.
