Please advice
I was taking
Opdivo
immunotherapy from 2/2023 to 2/2024 for bladder cancer. so far my bladder cancer is in check so now I can focus on my PCA. Should I get a PSMA pet? is it time to start ADT + Abi and prednisone?

immunotherapy for OVCA
just wanted to provide an update on using immunotherapy, in my case
Opdivo
and Yervoy. Some background: 6 years after my initial diagnosis of OVCA, it was discovered via a raised CA125 and subsequent CT Scan, that I had developed 3 tumors on my Psoas muscle of my back.

A cystectomy in 01/2023 due to bladder cancer, one year of immunotherapy with
Opdivo
, and back surgery for sciatica in June 2024 in addition, I now a hernia under the stoma. Am I making the right decision? your help is appreciated.

PC no longer castrate resistant
He says there are other pills I can choose to take instead, such as Zytiga with a parp inhibitor,
Opdivo
or Nirapared, but still thinks the chemo or clinical trial are better choices for me. I'm getting a second opinion, but any insights you guys might have would be helpful. Thanks, Joe Mason

CCR6 & CCL20 are the key drivers in prostate tumor microenvironment.
Surprisingly enough, drugs that can block CCL20 may also reduce autoimmune side-effects from standard PD-1 immunotherapy, such as
and Keytruda.

#AskChatGPT : list of immunotherapy drugs for prostate cancer
Nivolumab (
Opdivo
): Nivolumab is another checkpoint inhibitor that targets PD-1. Like pembrolizumab, nivolumab has been studied in clinical trials for advanced prostate cancer, often in combination with other therapies.

3 Years After Stage IV Diagnosis
He did infusions of the immunotherapy drug (
Opdivo
) for 8 months and then was pulled out of the trial because of adverse side effects. He did monthly Firmagon shots until the pill form, Orgovyx, became available and now that is all he takes to manage his prostate cancer.

Roger Died from his Melanoma. He had to stop Successful Opdivo Infusions due to Problems caused in his Liver.
Roger kept getting weaker and weaker. He was hospitalized, the sent to a rehab, then to another hospital due to breathing trouble, then home to die in 2 days. It was a quick ending to an honorable and graceful life. He was in his 80's, but until he had Melanoma - he seemed very young and strong. God

Insomnia Strikes Again 😂
He had his 5th
Opdivo
infusion and will have the 6th one in 2 weeks. Then we have an MRI scheduled for March 1 and praying that it will show shrinkage of the tumors or at least that they're stable. I'm working on a couple of interesting projects with AstraZenica this month.

Opdivo immunotherapy
Insurance denied the Tecentriq and Avastin combo at last minute so we're going with
Opdivo
instead. His insurance company is changing at end of month so Oncologist says can always try again for approval with new company. He wanted to start something though ASAP so I guess it's better than nothing.

Hoping for a Better 2022
He has to go for blood work next week and then sees the Dr on the 11th to discuss how the
Opdivo
is working. No matter what, nothing can take away the wonderful memories of this holiday season. Sharon 💖🥳

Naming our drugs-how does that happen?
One kind soul used that to explain how -mab described a monoclonal antibody (think Nivolumab/
Opdivo
). He went on to teach me that the suffix -nib means the drug is an inhibitor like afatnib which is used as a TKI inhibitor(also know as Gilotrif). So today I read this blog about naming drugs.

Immunotherapy keytruda
Since the chemotherapy was not working, and with little precedent, I was put on immunotherapy (
Opdivo
) and Lupron, and my PSA went from 21 to 0.11 after one treatment. After the 0.11 reading, my PSA readings for the next thirteen months were “undetectable”.

Dr Sartor raises questions about triplet therapy as a SOC for MHSPC. What was the take home message of PEACE I ??
I do wonder if this is in regards to CHECKMATE 650 and the decreased responsiveness to Yervoy and
Opdivo
by patients that had been treated with docetaxel. At this point, maybe there is no take home message from PEACE I..... Don Pescado
