Ondansetron on testing in UK, (TOP HAT), for P hallucinations. Anyone knows anything about test doses and results so far?
The testing of
Ondansetron
looks interesing espesially interesting as the side effects are mild.

I am on on several meds,Hydrocortisone, Tramadol,
Ondansetron
, Promethazine and Lorazapam. I’m concerned about the Tramadol I heard it is very addictive and hard to discontinue. I have been on it for several months. I have also been trying to wean off the steroids for about 7 to 8 months now.

Post SCT update

Ondansetron
, Colecalciferol and Furosimide so in my eyes that is progress.

Struggling with antibiotics on chemo
They sent me home with the same pills and told me to take
ondansetron
(for 7 days!) The pills are staying down but I am struggling to eat. (The nurse in a @ e described these pills as ‘horrible old things’) Any thoughts? Should I ask for different antibiotics now GP is open? thanks, Lyndy

update from Ruffabug (End of life plan)
When that time comes I would suggest that I have that instead of
Ondansetron
. I could then save the 8mg Neupro patch as a last resort for end of life. He replied by phoning me and making sure we agreed on it all.

Any advice for gastro symptoms which respond to steroids, but no diagnosis? Does normal colonoscopy cover the small bowel?
Alongside the inevitable loperamide (and FODMAP etc etc), I've had treatment using Bile Acid Malabsorption drugs (not tested with sehcat), and
Ondansetron
(assuming some fairly extreme form of IBS). This last has been great for a year, but is increasingly ineffective.

Buprenorphine, Nausea & Zofran (Ondansetron)
I also take Zofran (
Ondansetron
) (4x 2 mg per day tablets) but so far no real relief. i wondered whether anyone on the site has used Zofran to treat Buprenorphine nausea and how long it took for it to be effective? My GP said it would be 2-3 days but someone else said two weeks?

Just need to have a rant about this horrendous condition 😡
I am currently being prescribed
Ondansetron
for the nausea but I feel like it’s not having much of an effect. I am also taking over the counter Codine which will not be prescribed to me by my GP as it’ll make my constipation worse but I will take that over the pain which is unbearable.

In case it helps anyone else - Ondansetron
For getting on for a year I've been on 3 x 4mg
Ondansetron
daily. It has truly been life-changing. I am now a "normal" coeliac - in that I can go out and eat (with attendant risks obviously, and once or twice I've paid the price).

Any coming back from this?
Single fraction radiotherapy (800 cGy) with
Ondansetron
prescribed for symptom relief. Summary: My father has lost the use of his legs due to muscle atrophy. He’s been seeing a physiotherapist who has been helping him - some progress has been made on that front but he is still largely bedridden.

Any tips/guidance on taking pred when you can't hold anything down?
I try and sleep it off with the help of
Ondansetron
but max out on my limit of that too. What I feel I really need is plain old carbs in the form of white bread, but haven't eaten any of those since diagnosis either. The good news is I've lost 4kg!!! Thanks all in advance.

Received 216.0 mCi of Lutetium- 177, after receiving
ondansetron
(Zofran) (for possible nausea) & 0.9% Saline Solution. Continued the Saline Solution for 1 hr. after infusion, also. The Technician said the LU 177 was manufactured in Finland. So far no side effects.
