FCR Round One Down - 5 to go....
I took metoclopramide and
ondansetron
, but had constant nausea and some break-through vomiting during treatment, so I need to get that sorted before the next cycle. Might try acupuncture as well - anyone out there had any success with that for nausea?

Not so good.
Luckily, I found some
ondansetron
(anti-nausea pills) and that seems to be helping. Still having trouble keeping my eyes open, though - I think that's a combination of the drowsy side effect of the methadone plus not getting much sleep last night. So that's where things are at right now.

Managing your condition is not just about treatment
I have been taking cyclazine and
ondansetron
injections via my picc line for a number of years. All routine and without them…..well you can imagine. Post-transplant I have been prescribed them by my hospital despite the fact that they don’t actually get paid for doing this.

Has anyone tried Ondansetron for nausea and vomiting when having a migraine attack?
I was given them in the USA in August when I was admitted to hospital with chronic dehydration when experiencing a severe migraine attack.

How much more?
He's constantly nauseous - unsurprising, as he's had his guts ripped open, and is on 2 painkillers where the top side-effect is nausea - but, rather than just give him
ondansetron
for nausea (which seems to work really well), they keep giving him cyclizine and buccastem, which do nothing; as a result

Medications and food to avoid, applies to most of us who has RLS. This is taken from the www.rlshelp.org website..
There are two newer anti-nausea medications available in t he USA, Kytril (granisetron hydrochloride) and Zofran (
ondansetron
hydrochloride) which do not affect the dopamine system and thus should be safe for RLS. The only problem with these medications are that they are very expensive.

Anti sickness drugs- suffering badly with each chemo dose.
I have
ondansetron
to take for the first five days and metoclopramide to take for up to two weeks plus another one that I forget the name but I think it's a steroid and referred to as "bed and breakfast".
