Hi All - Gynecomastia
Dr Google now says that I have gynecomastia due to my liver failing and putting out
Oestrogen
. Tongue in cheek I know, and I also realise there may be 100 other reasons for it rather than the worst case scenario.

Advice on labs needed please
Does anyone know anything about starting
oestrogen
supplements in your 60s, long after menopause? I never took HRT... Also, my D has dropped, I was advised to stop supplements due to high calcium and phosphorus levels, but think I might need to start again at least for the winter.

advise pls!! Hrt reaction on endo
Due to menopause symptoms not really under control the menopause clinic told me to try
oestrogen
gel and progesterone tablets of which I have been in for 3 wks. This has caused pain in the left side of my pelvis. Will this settle down if I stick with the hrt ?

Would appreciate hearing from people going through similar?
Hi I had a total hysterectomy a year ago - including ovaries, the whole lot. For a while I felt fine, then gradually struggled to breath, raspy throat, lack of energy, breathless, it got worse and was admitted to hospital. When I came home I got estrogen patches, am now on 25 mg and felt much better

Advised for donor eggs after one cancelled stimulation cycle
Hello everyone, So,we have had a cycle which was a cancelled cycle after stimulation and before collection. Long story short the doctors saw only one egg was fully grown just before collection day and estrogen was low. And with low estrogen the doctor believed that most likely the follicles were empty

Help interpreting results & likelihood of diagnosis if I saw a private practitioner.
My latest idea is to get the mirena coil fitted to allow me to apply more
oestrogen
. I’m hoping that this will help with some of the symptoms. Scheduled to have coil fitted next week (currently using Evorel conti patches). Absolutely cannot tolerate oral progesterone.

Pondering the practice of testing TSH/FT4/FT3
As I have been expending all of this energy attempting to educate myself and my endocrinologist - as I would like to be well and stay well, it made me wonder... Is there another hormone that is typically replaced, and then tested to see what the levels are? In other words, would my GP order a test

Issues with meds before FET
Hey ladies, I’m curious to know if anyone has had any issues with the
oestrogen
tablets before a FET? I’m on day 2 of them and have to take 3 a day but one of my knees has swollen due to water retention and I’m worried it’s because of the tablets.

HRT - decreases B12 levels?
Feeling off sort of coincides with increasing the level of
Oestrogen
I have been taking - however I don’t know if I’m making a false link trying to search for answers. Maybe it could be that as I near menopause there’s a link with hormones more generally.

e2 patch
well I finally got to meet with y Oncologist last week regarding use of estradiol (e2) patch to battle against osteoporosis / osteopenia because the 90 day Xgeva dosing (down from every 28 daysx 2 years) doesn't seem to be doing much. He claims the possible cardiovascular side effects from the PATCH
