Good morning everyone! It's a humbling moment when I see myself declining or regressing! I was diagnosed with ADHD in Jan.2024 and started on stimulants currently on Vyvanse 20mg every other day. Got some ADHD coaching . There is an improvement in memory and focus. However, my social/emotional/ communication

Inference Based Cognitive Behavior Therapy (I-CBT)?
Hello, Our daughter L was transferred into a residential treatment program for mood and anxiety disorders on Thursday for what is intended to be a 30-45 day stay. It does not sound as if she will be getting a lot of ERP there, but at least she will be cut off from the opportunity to carry out some

Good news on recurrence
Hi Ladies I’ve had good news from my July scan report. All new growth from recurrence is NED, good partial remission 😊 I had 6 cycles of Caelyx/Carbo after recurrence when 7 months of PARP Olaparib should have but hadn’t work, instead had new growth. I also started Avastin privately with Lloyds

hello. I am 50yo and have been on hrt for a few years. My previous doctor had me taking dhea as well, but my current doctor hasn’t suggested it. I have read that it can be harmful?? Has anyone taken dhea and if so can you share your thoughts?

Anyone completely heat intolerant?
I’m finding this weather unbelievably difficult to handle. I’m central hypothyorid but medicated…( never feel well but never mind ) For the last couple of months I have been suffering one hot flush after another or just hot all the time and perspiring constantly. It’s horrid. Can’t figure out if this

Hi, I am 50 and am peri menopausal. Currently struggling with the hot flushes, not sleeping etc. My GP has advised me not to take HRT due to family history, does anyone know of any herbal supplements that I could take instead? Neuroendocrine cancer % in APC patients is not rare, it’s becoming common.
How do we help men, on this site, to reduce their chances of getting NEPC? I did a PSMA PET scan today. My blood tests looked pretty normal with psa at .5 and other tested looking like they usually do, except for blood glucose, which is normally in the 93-99 range for the past five years, but was 76

Getting a serial liquid biopsy post-ADT
Any experience/tips getting serial liquid biopsies approved by US MO's? My MO has not brought it up but I am off ADT after 21 months due to undetectable PSA since the get-go. So now I'm on the check-PSA-every-3-month program. I wonder why serial liquid biopsies aren't SOC at this phase too? There

Night Sweats and Insomnia
Hi. I'm 67 and started the menopause around 50. Most of my symptoms have settled down but I suffer badly from insomnia and still have phases of hot sweats (both in the day and night) . Even when I don't have sweats I have what I can only describe as hormone surges at night (this is what it feels like

Zytiga or Erleda
When adding second line hormone treatment do MO’s add zytiga first and Erleda later or does it matter what order? Thanks and Happy Monday!

"Undetectable"
We hear the term of "undetectable" with a psa of < .1 used so often. When I was first diagnosed and had an RALP I bought into the use of this theory. As the months clicked by and I was "undetectable" I was slowly gaining confidence and reassurance that this was true. Eight months later a .1 shattered
