Oral Thrush that does not go away
Hello everyone. I’m having a problem I need advice. Oral Thrush has been treated in the last 8 years off an on. Nystatin has lost effectiveness. Recently referred to immunologist who has put me on fluconozole for 90 days at 100 mg. My Rheumatologist does not know yet, but I know once again he will

Oral Thrush Conundrum
I have been at stage 2 for a few years. I am on three immunosuppresents (one for kidney and two for psoriatic arthritis). Dealing with thrush is a constant. My former nephorologist refused to give me anything stronger than Nystatin. Told her multiple times it didn't work, and multiple times was re-prescribed

Constant oral thrush on Fostair
I am constantly struggling with oral thrush on the roof of my mouth and now painfully in my throat. I take 2 puffs morning / 2 puffs night Fostair. I use a spacer, brush my teeth, rinse my mouth and it still keeps happening. Usually Nystatin works but this time (after finishing antibiotics) it’s not

Getting circumcised after 7 months of battling with constant Balanitis
I got Balanitis from seemingly nowhere 7 months ago. As soon as I realized something felt off down there I took a trip to the Dr, believing that it would be a relatively easy fix. I was prescribed Clotrimazole, I was so relieved on the way home, thankful for modern medicine. If only I’d known how premature

Oral Thrush
I started steroid treatment in September and have reduced dose from 20mgs to 15mgs. Throughout treatment I have had Oral Thrush. It cleared after treatment with Nystatin, but almost immediately returned. I am not taking any other medication apart from calcium and Vitamin D tablets. Is Prednisolone causing

LPR? Advice please.
Had GORD for over 20 years and Barrett's was diagnosed about 5 years ago. Was refused a check up by a GP ( quote; The NHS don't do those any more. ) but managed to wrangle a gastroscopy by a reckless and arrogant 'medic' and ended up with a hiatus hernia and thrush, then told I did not have Barratt's

result of consultant appointment
I’m so disappointed. I had a tummy bug for three days and despite all that involved and it wasn’t pleasant at all, I didn’t have any SOB or the dreaded panic attacks. Yesterday I was right as rain so made myself a mini roast and did some ironing and took myself upstairs to bed for the first time in

Sore Tongue
I've had a sore tongue for 3 years since being diagnosed with pmr. My dentist just said its typical with autoimmune illness. I looked up Thrush but I didn't have white patches. My tongue always feels like I burnt the tip of it. Toothpaste irritates it. My n ew GP gave me oral dose of Nystatin for 2

Underarm Rash
I've had a recurring rash in my armpits for at least 2 years. It itches and ranges from mildly red to small bumps to hives. I have seen the dermatologist and tried Tacrolimus, Triamcinolone Acetonide, Serniv, 2% Hydrocortisone, and Muciprocin. Some help a minor amount but it always comes back. Has anyone

Crazy Poison Ivy rash
I've searched our site and don't seem to find any posts about a topic that has quickly become of interest to me - reaction to poison ivy. Does CLL make it harder for my body to heal itself? I thought at 67 I was not someone who reacted, since I'd never had inkling of a reaction in my life. Obviously

Chemotherapy Cycle 3 Week 2 & 3
I can't believe this cycle is nearly over and tomorrow I start my last cycle for the moment. Week 2 carried on with the thrush for a bit longer than usual. I also found the Nystan the oncology nurse gave me to help with the oral thrush has started to make me feel nauseous but I persevered. These past
