Is anyone else suffering from an increase of illnesses since having Viral Meningitis or Viral Meningio-Encephalitis?
I also take when needed:
Nystan
(for Oral Thrush) and Ipratropium (asthma inhaler) I feel tired and washed out most days. My energy levels are very limited. I have to pace myself for any social or family events. I’ve put on weight (9lbs); my skin is thin and dry, and my hair seems lank.

Oral thrush/hoarse voice
Hi everyone, I have kept my daughter on 3 or 4 puffs morning & night of her flixotide preventer since the week before Christmas. Compared to her usual bouts (which were every other week and horrendous!), she sailed through a cold mid Jan, and *touch wood* has been quite even-keeled since Christmas.

Hi. I take symbicort twice daily and use bricanyl as and when and generally things are well controlled at the moment. However, I've had a problem with my throat/voice for about 6 months now. It started with a throat infection that wouldn't go and after 7(!!!!) weeks of antibiotics I had thrush in

Sore throat saga!
Ok, so I was diagnosed yesterday morning with oral thrush (side effect of my inhaler) I was prescribed Nystatin. Fine! Now I am feeling as sick as a dog and can not bare to eat anything. It would seem that sickness is a side effect of Nystatin, I just can't win. Also I have stopped taking the sybocort

update on mouth
As I mentioned in my last Blog ,I've had a very sore tongue & mouth and my lip keeps swelling up.I went to see My GP today and she thinks it is thrush (even though no white spots) as the corners of my mouth are cracked and my tongue is cracked and very red.She prescribed me Nystatin oral suspension 1ml

Throat problems
Been on flucanazole 100mg a day for 10 weeks and also had difflam mouth rinse,
nystan
, and dakatarin oral gel and I still can't get rid of it. I've tried rinsing after taking my nebs and have now stopped the difflam as was told it was making it worse.

Oral thrush
Hi As you know, I have had a chest infection and two lots of antibiotics. After the first one, I developed oral thrush, so had nystatin prescribed. After the second one I had both oral and vaginal thrush, so had a one off capsule prescribed about a week ago. Now the oral thrush is back. I have cleaned

Asthma & Medication
Hi All, I'm after a little advice from real life asthma sufferers as I am not too sure/confused about mine. Firstly I will apologise for the length of the post, but it is necessary to get the details across so sorry... I was diagnosed with asthma 9 months ago (aged 22), after having an 'asthma attack

Home Nebulisers
Hello All, At the moment I am unwell with Asthma due to a chest infection,I have been prescribed Amoxicillin, Prednisilone and Nystatin. My question is, I have read recently that home nebulising is no better than using your existing reliever, and I was wondering if it is worth me continuing with my nebulising
