Chronic gut problems: some relief!
I have also stopped taking
nsaids
, as I noticed gut pain after ingesting. It's a pity I can't take them (even with omeprazol) as they do help, but I've taken them for years and I don't think they're doing me any favours. It's not a good idea to take them with diverticula disease anyway.

What happens next
I've tried many many painkillers over the years,
NSAIDS
, opiates, pregabilin but not really any success, will immunosuppressants be the next step?

Traumatic shoulder injury 14 months ago, constant pain and discomfort ever since :-(
Stretches, ultrasound, exercise,
NSAIDS
were prescribed to no avail. I have seen chiropractors and orthopaedic specialists and no one had a clue what I had done until last month when I finally succeeded in getting an MRI scan on the NHS and was forwarded to a private shoulder specialist.

Antidepressants and stomach ulcers, please help!!
However the issue is ALL antidepressants have this side effect and carry the same risk of causing a peptic ulcer as
NSAIDs
. I am banned from taking
NSAIDs
for the rest of my life, and I definitely should not take antidepressants long term as my stomach would end up all kinds of fucked up.

NSAIDS, other pain killers as cause of diverticular disease?
Hello folks On top of everything else I have been diagnosed with diverticula disease. This is odd, since I am predominantly vegetarian, and eat mostly beans, lentils, peas and veg. I make my own whole meal bread. Plenty of roughage! I am wondering if this disease could have been caused by the long term

Worried about opiates
I can't have
NSAIDs
because I was on them for too long so I'm left only with opiates until someone figures out what's wrong and hopefully can treat me.

Feeling Great!!!
Currently I am not taking ANY
NSAIDs
or any prescribed RA meds. What an answer to prayer. I thank you God for putting me on this path to healing! Also go check out the series Betrayal by Dr. Tom O'Bryan. You'll have to google it if this link doesn't work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?

Starting methotrexate
All of the other treatments we've tried I seem to react to - which we now know is probably due to my severe photosensitivity which some make worse - and other treatments such as
nsaids
I can't take at all.

1 year on, cause not known: Random pain, weakness, knee pain. Had subacute thyroiditis
NSAIDS
was the only thing for now. I continued with ibuprufen and pcm which was tsking for relief anyway. My endo explained that it is very likely that thyroid will eventually return to normal but can take SOME time. ha ha. This is because first it will become under active, which it did.
