So sorry! Another supplement enquiry. B vitamins, excluding b12?
I received my sublingual b12 vitamins today (1000 mcg Methylcobalamin, taking 2 to begin with as level is 372 ng/L [> 180]) but I wonder whether I should still be supplementing with other b vits as well, including folic acid (my folate is 16 ng/ml [4.6 - 34.8)? I don't want to miss important ones out

The Side Effect They Don’t Tell You About: Lung Cancer, Treatment, and Your Love Life
There is a very common family of side effects that can result from lung cancer treatment, indeed from all cancer treatments. It’s something that doctors have on their checklists for assessing patient status, but it’s a rare doctor who asks about how you are doing in this area. It’s also a rare cancer

Good news is that I will only be in 4 weeks and can more or less choose when it's best for me to start. Sisters tissue is done, mine is not ready but

Once again, sad relapse
Sad news 😢 I was in remission only a few months for systematic NHL in 2015 after 6 rounds of R-EPOCH, then I had a recurrence in my Central nervous system once the NHL had crossed the blood brain barrier. I then had 8 rounds of Methotrexate/Rituxin prior to a stem cell transplant in Nov 2016 (the chemo

Anyone having success with lung cancer, PDL1 positive, adenocarcinoma. No more treatment is available for my hubby...any advice? He is 44😢
Can anyone help?? Advise who to go to, where to turn, to try a treatment? When chemo, radio and 1 type of immunotherapy has not worked. Dr has said can not offer more... I find this to hard to deal with, my husband is only 44... he don't want to give up, he wants a chance...

What do lung cancer patients want from our medical teams?
I recently had the opportunity to talk to a group of medical professionals about lung cancer survivorship issues, and a major focus of my talk was telling them what I think lung cancer patients want from our medical teams. I think that it is an important message to deliver because my medical team looks

Lung transplant!
It's been a while again since my last post. Health update is as follows oxygen while awake, I'm going to try O-fev, pulmonary rehab, and lose weight. I have begun the evaluation process for a lung transplant I think my biggest obstacle will be the weight loss. I've struggled with obesity my entire life

Cyramza/Taxotere
Yesterday was round 2 of Cyramza/Taxotere. All in all, side effects from round one were doable. Worst ones being mouth/tongue sores and major hair loss. Some fatigue but keeping up with life for which I am truly grateful. This is the second line treatment for me after progression on Alimta maintenance
