Hi folks I wondered if any of you guys had had experience with Small cell lung cancer and confusing diagnosis. In terms of limited or extensive. When I asked they said stage 3 but not cureable and although it's limited that it's borderline limited? This is a family member and not myself. Treatment is

Doing the unkown
Found out the name of medicine i am doing for the clinical trial, called ose 2101, it is a shot i take every three weeks. I have stage 4 lung cancer (incurable ) plus 2 more tumors in adrenal glands. Before starting the clinical trial, my doctor said i did not have anything to lose for doing the trial

New treatment for lung cancers with a BRAF mutation
The FDA has approved a combination of two drugs for the treatment of patients with BRAF V600E mutation-positive metastatic non-small cell lung cancer. This is great news as it adds another targeted therapy to treatment options. https://www.fda.gov/drugs/informationondrugs/approveddrugs/ucm564331.htm

Question on Complete Stem Cell Transplant
Has anyone out there ever had a complete stem cell transplant? I will be going with my sister in law this coming week to Emory Hospital in Atlanta to find out the details. Would like to hear the good and the bad if you or if you know anyone who has had this done. She has CLL but has the P17 deletion

Just home after lung wedge resection
After so much anxiety about lung surgery, I was discharged this morning three days from the surgery date. It was not as bad as I'd feared.. the most painful part was the chest tube but the pain was significantly reduced after that was removed. I had the surgery because of a PET positive, speculated 1.5
