Hello, I've just joined and wanted to introduce myself with my story: I'm Lauren, 22 and ive been struggling since the day I started my periods! I've always had heavy periods and I was always told it was 'normal' but deep down I knew it wasn't! I used to take weeks off of school just to get through

Full Hysterectomy due to Endo
Hi, I was diagnosed with endo in 2005, had various surgeries to fix and a 6-month round of zoladex. I'm now having to have a full hysterectomy due to endo and other gyne issues. Also may end up with a second surgery due to the belief that my uterus is also plastered to my bowel. Have any of you had

This is confusing, its been well almost 18 months since stopping zoladex went for my biannual checkup, I was floored when I read my results and so was my oncologist. My ( T) jumped to almost 500 and my PSA was0.01. I thought I would have a lot more energy and libido, but there's nothing. Iam feeling

Exhaustion/fatigue
Can anyone help me out with any advice, support, suggestions, anything at all, please. I was diagnosed with endo in March after an emergency appendectomy. I started treatment with Zoladex last month and last week had my 2nd injection. I also started addback therapy. It may be coincidental, but since

Feeling confused. Expected a laparoscopy but told I now need hysterectomy. 42 yrs old.
In brief... Pelvic pain intermittent for about 5 years after coming off Pill. Fibroids detected on u/s scan. Menstrual bleeding and clotting worsened over time, becoming unbearable. (Diagnosed and treated for Thyroid Cancer 2013). Ferritin level measured 10 in 2014. Suspected endometriosis due to searing

Just want the bleeding to stop!
So I've had my appointment with the consultant today and feeling a little disappointed but not at all surprised that my options are limited. I've tried every contraceptive I can and they all give me prolonged bleeding which will stop for a week or 2 then restarts or I have sex and bang another 20-30

Should I ask for BSGE referral?
I have my follow up appointment with my gynaecologist on Tuesday. I had a lap in February where my left ovary and tube were removed, adhesions divided and left ureter stented. I was told my endo is 'extensive'. I am fast losing confidence in the urology team at my local hospital following the removal

Post -lap. Hysterectomy?
Hi ladies Just after some advice from those who may be in the same position. I was diagnosed with severe endo (both ovaries tethered to underside of womb, POD full of adhesions, large chocolate cyst on ovary) after a routine lap. Was told nothing is wrong for years.... anyway I had everything excised

Pain with full bladder
I'm not good right now. On week 6 of zoladex and the pain has been horrific. Iv took pain killers every 4 hours constantly for 6 weeks. Dr just changed my pain killers so I don't get addicted to codeine but it's not touching it. Waiting to see my consultant but that could be months away but I'm not

Endo and Fibroids... newbie here
Hi everyone, I was recently diagnosed with Endo in Jan, I had a fibroid removed and another left after the surgery. Currently I'm on the pill, and the fibroid seems to have tripled the size, I guess as a result of the pill. Does any own have any suggestions on what I can take to reduce the fibroid growth
