Nosebleeds
Does anyone taking nifedipine get nose bleeds? If so any way of stopping them (not involving stopping nifedipine as I find it does keep me at least a bit warmer)

What kind of specialist is best to find out if you have Raynauds?
I am still not sure if I have Raynaud's or not. It started last April with freezing cold hands. They are ALWAYS cold, they never get warm. And some of the fingers are a bluish red. I had an appointment with a rheumatologist, where nothing came out of it. She arranged for all kind of blood tests which

Swollen painful fingers, systemic sclerosis
Hi all, Wondered if anyone here suffers the same symptoms in their fingers/hands/arms? For nearly a year my fingers are swollen/puffy, which makes them impossible to curl and painful too. I can't lift or grip things unless they are lightweight (I'm only 42 years old) From January to May they were

Sibo & Medications
I have had diffuse systemic scleroderma since 2011, I am 71 years of age. I had my first bout of sibo a year ago, for which I was prescribed metronidazole followed by co-amoxiclav, that worked perfectly. I have recently had another episode of sibo & took the same drugs, but it seems to be coming back

Nifedipine side effects
My daughter is taking nifedipine and is struggling with the side effects. It’s early days as it’s only about a week but she is fatigued, has headaches and neck pain and I’m wondering if this is common and when these may subside. Her appetite has dropped as well. Any advice would be very welcome.

Just need to talk to someone that might understand. Sorry about the long story
Hello, first time posting but read everyday since registering after my first heart attack Nov 2020. I'm 58 and to date have had 2 documented heart attacks (probably more like 3 -4). No significant obstruction found on the 2 angiograms I've had, normal Echo and MRI after my first HA. Normal 7 day ECG

Nifedipine
I have been prescribed nifedipine to help with raynauld's, pleased to say it is working. Downside is the flushing esp. in my face, even more my EARS! - sort of Rudolph the red eared reindeer if you can picture it. Does any one know how long it takes for the "flUsh effect" to ease? thanks for any replies

Cold or what!
Hi all, Hoping it's not just me but has it all of a sudden just gone freezing! I'm changing colour every few minutes. Does anyone take anything for their Raynaud's? I've been given nifedipine 10mg. I never thought it worked much. I don't know if I maybe didn't try it for long enough. I tried to ask

Nifedipine
Hi All, Earlier this year I told I have Raynauds and they think it's primary. Last winter my fingers were really painful and my toes went numb and had cramps if outside for too long. My consultant said this winter, if required, I could try a blood pressure tablet called Nifedipine. Has anyone on here
