Ibruprofen changed to Matrifen Transdermal patches fentanyl
Hi all, hope your all having a pain free day or at least less pain than yesterday. I asked the question to every one about my tummy pains on Ibuprofen yesterday and some advised to see my GP . I wanted to let you all know what the outcome was as it may help someone else in the same predicament. Well

e cigarettes are they the future for smokers
At first it was
patches
,gum and lozenges for those that attempted escape from their
nicotine
addiction, it is now becoming e cigarettes that are taking this desperate market being persuaded that it is not necessary for them to quit as there are no dangers with this product.

Other treatments for Behcet's
Low-dose
nicotine
patches
can also work well for oral/skin ulcers - see the research. There are other prescriptions useful for specific Behcet's symptoms that I don't see used often in the U.K., probably because physicians are unaware or uneducated in their use and effectiveness.

Oh dear...
Helps me understand why all the Gum,
Patches
, Lozenges only partially help - for the
Nicotine
of course. SO, at least its more information that may help me understand why this is so bewildering and difficult. Going to stay away from that "first puff" as long as I can today.

Nicotine Addiction ! Interesting article on why it is hard to stop AND why its worth it .
Nicotine
replacement therapies like gum and
patches
may help to stave of the desire for
nicotine
, but they don't touch the acetaldehyde. Another interesting factoid -- when the body begins to break down alcohol, it produces acetaldehyde.

Has anyone else heard of nicotine patches to reduce symptoms ?
There seems to be some research done in Stockllom to support that nicotine in its pure form can have. Beneficial effects in. Parkinson . Has anyone tried them ? If so how is it? Soniadakini

A question for those using nicotine patches
Hullo! When it comes to the time where you should drop down to the smaller patches does it feel any different? Do you feel like the smaller amount of nicotine makes you crave cigs more, or send you into moods? I will be on my 8th week next week and I am really starting to get panicky about it :( xx

What is NRT?
Currently there are
nicotine
patches
, gum, tablets, lozenges, inhalator, mouth spray and nasal spray. By using NRT, you are only getting the nicotine from the product, not the other 4,000 chemicals that are found in tobacco smoke.
