ecigs. i have been reading the posts on here and listening to the media coverage on this over the last couple of days with much dissmay
i get so frustrated when reporting on ecigs people call it smoking. its not smoking, theres no tobaco, no lighting no tar, no smoke. its nothing like smoking. the only thing the two have in common is
nicotine
. if we take that to its logical conclusion
nicotine
patches
gum spray inhalers are smoking?

Day 1.
I am using the
patches
and the e-cig(
nicotine
free). Also scared of putting on weight so have joined Weightwatchers. At 17st I can ill afford to put on any weight. Im trying to be positive by putting my weight on here as a incentive. More so to eat healthier and monitor what I am eating.

BENEFITS OF STOPPING SMOKING
These include
nicotine

patches
, tablets, lozenges, and inhalers. You can buy NRT without a prescription. Also, medicines called bupropion (trade name 'Zyban®') and varenicline (trade name 'Champix®') can help.

BEAT THE CRAVINGS.
Some types of
nicotine
replacement therapy, including
patches
, gums and lozenges, are available over-the-counter.
Nicotine
nasal spray and the nicotine inhaler are available by prescription, as are the stop-smoking medications bupropion (Zyban) and varenicline (Chantix). Chew on it.

Interesting Treatments
Low dose
nicotine
patches
, inhalers, doxycyline mouth rinses, topical steriods. NONE of these have ever been brought up, ever. I mentioned once to my rheum. about topical steriods and he shrugged and said it isn't typical to use that. I feel like he doesn't keep up with new research.

Drs. Hasan & Yusuf Yazici @ colchicine (Colcrys)
For example, I know that they've prescribed Trental (pentoxifylline) and
nicotine
patches
, but they don't mention those in this interview or their published articles. Still, other Behcet's specialists continue to promote the usefulness of colchicine, such as Dr.

It is only my second day without cigarettes and I'm struggling. I have smoked for 60years and was diagnosed with copd 2years ago.
The question I want to ask is:- Has anyone else had problems with
nicotine
patches
? They irritate my skin so much that it itches very badly.

Hi all, hope your all having a pain free day or at least less pain than yesterday. I asked the question to every one about my tummy pains on Ibuprofen yesterday and some advised to see my GP . I wanted to let you all know what the outcome was as it may help someone else in the same predicament. Well
