Quit smoking
Does anyone find nicotine patches useful? If so to what extent? And do they compensate for the desire of the harshness of the cigarette.

Giving up the NRT
After the bad experience with the nicotine patches, feeling jittery and sick, I removed it half way through day one and decided to use only the inhalator. I only used that yesterday in the morning and after my evening meal. But it was the worst night sleep ever. I normally sleep through every night.

The Safety of Being a Social Smoker
As an occasional smoker, you run the risk of

addiction
forcing you into an ever-increasing need for more. Tobacco in any amount is bad for you, so cut your risk while you're not heavily addicted and quit now.

Nicotine
addiction
is pretty pathetic. I still made it through that night, but as I mentioned a couple of sentences ago I did end up giving in sometime on that 3rd day. And not just a little bit. Like smoked all day kind of caving.

Why Smoking Even Just One Cigarette a Day Is Bad for You.
āWhen youāre down to one cigarette a day, itās likely youāre dealing with more of a habit than a chemical
addiction
to
nicotine
āthereās such a low amount of nicotine being consumed at that point,ā says Rizzo.
