Hi everyone I've been cigarette free for 70 days now, have been on nicotine patches (on 7mg) i know eventually I would need to withdraw from nicotine I'm just nervous and alittle anxious I don't want to be super crazy bitch don't think my partner will appreciate that 😂 He has never smoked and just doesn't understand but lately I've been feeling irritated by everything is it because past 2 weeks I've been on 7mg do i need to go back up to 14mg or is it because I'm getting less nicotine?
My question is has anyone been in my situation and what's your advice also when it comes to having no patches too thank you

Dont go back up. Cut your patches in half for 2 weeks. Then quarters for 2 weeks then stop using them. You dont need them after 70 days. Doing it this way you will have little or no cravings. Good luck
I have quit cold turkey and thought i would really struggle with no nicotine but honestly it more the habit that's the problem. I'll make a coffee and think "aw I'll just have a cig" and then I remember I don't actually smoke! Don't be afraid. After this long you don't need them!
cheers, I went into the pharmacy as well everything's fine now, I haven't been on patches today so far and yesterday I only had it on for half the day, I'm not feeling annoyed or anything just tired but not irritated so looking good.
It's super important you don't up your nicotine. You'll be going backwards. I never tried patches properly as I tried it once or twice and had an awful experience using them. A friend of a friend used patches and he would cut 1/4 or close every 4 weeks. There is no right or wrong answer. It's all about what you think would work and try to see if it works. Forget about going up. Take that out of you mind and think about how you can get down. You can do this!
I did a lot of research a couple of months ago and tried aromatherapy vapourisers for smokers. It really did help the urges, but the best thing that helped me was going to the gym constantly and changing my bad habits. Think about the bad habits you have and transform all of them into good ones. You're off to a good start now. I believe you!
