Increasing Urine Protein Crea Ratio - Anyone has been through this?
I have Lupus
Nephritis
Class IV, and was diagnosed in Jan 2015. I was in remission until early Dec 2017, where the urine results showed that there was protein leakage again above the normal range.

Crappy day
Back at work this week after 4 months off with nephrotic syndrome and grade 4 lupus
nephritis
. Thought I was ready to go back. Clearly not. Although I'm still taking high dose mycophenelate and 15mg pred as well as ramipri furosomide hydroxychloriquine etc. Really needed to get back to normal.

Can people with
nephritis
tell me a little bit about their own experiences post-diagnosis? What kind of flare ups do you get, how do you recognise them, are they as bad as the first time, how often do you get them etc etc.

Visited Bev again...
A week ago she had been in hospital for a week already with the kidney failure and Lupus
Nephritis
diagnosis. For the first week Bev was taking so many pills each day – 28! - that her mouth and gums went blue and she developed ulcers in her mouth and blisters under her tongue.

Dad has stage 5 CKD
My Dad has chronic
nephritis
and now he is down to only 14% function which puts him at stage 5 :( The Dr is not suggesting dialysis, my dad is 86 and has not really asked why it's not being offered.
