Low drop to improvement?
Since the drop i have been given additional medication for blood pressure but then its like a vicious circle, these are beta blockers called
Nebivolol
5mg and i know they can reduce kidney function. Anyway, for anything who's function have dropped that low have you managed to improve and how?

Light at the end of the AF tunnel - a success story
I am now on
Nebivolol
1.25 mg. I also take Magnesium supplements and multi vitamins. The change of drugs improved things but I still got symptoms even when not in AF. I began to realised that anxiety had become to be a real issue and that the symptoms were due sometimes to anxiety.

Additional BP tablet/Kidney disease
pressure monitoring results I had undertaken some weeks back are not showing on the system as yet, my bp was really high again that day at clinic, so my Prof/Neph does not want to take any chances and given me new bp medication to take on top of my usual one to see if that helps for now, it's called

Positive aspects of medication
I suspect this may be due to the
Nebivolol
reducing my high blood pressure which had recently increased to a high level with the frequency of PAV episodes.

Lansoprazole with nebivolol
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone was taking lansoprazole for acid reflux and
nebivolol
as my doctor has just put me on nebivolo. I've been taking lansoprazole for a few years now. Is it ok to mix? I have read some conflicting reports on the internet. Thanks for your help

Irritability?
Ever since I started in bisoprolol and was changed to
nebivolol
5mg My mood swings are worrying me. Last weekend I had a few beers and I was really bad. My wife says her laughing joking hubby has disappeared almost overnight into a withdrawn moody anxious person.

Everything out of kilter
This is a recent reduction due to developing atrial flutter and sv tachycardia for which I've been prescribed a beta blocker -
Nebivolol
2.5 mgs and osteoporosis (hereditary). I'm on Desunin and am considering Alendronic Acid, but am not keen. I am only 53 years old.

Advice or views please
I've been fairly stable in 1.25
nebivolol
for most of that time, until the last few weeks. My heart is fluttering a lot of the time, so my gp recommended taking 2.5mg
nebivolol
after a failed attempt at bisoprolol. I'm now awaiting a cardiology appointment. My query is in the progression of AF.

I've been on
Nebivolol
for nearly two weeks now and it's great. No AF episodes, no dizziness and best of all energy!!!! I've been working on mindfulness techniques and some CBT too and yesterday I went out with my children, the word AF never came into my mind once and we had a great time!

I've given up bisoprolol already
Sadly bisoprolol is not suiting me, after only 3days I'm going back to
nebivolol
. I have had far more arrhythmia in the last few days than ever, and with a resting pulse of 112 I just feel it's wrong. Back to square one.... should I have given it longer?

From nebivolol to bisoprolol
I have never got used to
nebivolol
and it's side effects, after 4 years, so hope the side effects don't make matters worse.

Nebivolol side effects
Consultant has put me on a small dose of
Nebivolol
and 8 weeks in I am really beginning to notice some side effects. These include, difficulty in sleeping, vision issues (difficult to describe but minor focusing and a goldfish bowl effect at night) and slight swelling of the ankles in the evening.

Has anybody taken the
nebivolol
as the chosen beta blocker? Most seem to take bisoprolol and I'm sensitive to that. Getting dizzy spells too...

I'm new to this
I've p a fib was diagnosed 2002 am on warfarin and
nebivolol
for it, plus other tabs for other things, but looking back it started long before that . I am going to have a cortisone injection in my thumb and wondered if it will affect my AF. Has anyone else had one?
