So many nasty effects from bisoprolol and
nebivolol
, thought I'd find one that feels better. Anybody take it, and with good results?

I've been fairly stable in 1.25
nebivolol
for most of that time, until the last few weeks. My heart is fluttering a lot of the time, so my gp recommended taking 2.5mg
nebivolol
after a failed attempt at bisoprolol. I'm now awaiting a cardiology appointment. My query is in the progression of AF.

Nebivolol
I've been on
Nebivolol
for nearly two weeks now and it's great. No AF episodes, no dizziness and best of all energy!!!! I've been working on mindfulness techniques and some CBT too and yesterday I went out with my children, the word AF never came into my mind once and we had a great time!

I've given up bisoprolol already
Sadly bisoprolol is not suiting me, after only 3days I'm going back to
nebivolol
. I have had far more arrhythmia in the last few days than ever, and with a resting pulse of 112 I just feel it's wrong. Back to square one.... should I have given it longer?

From nebivolol to bisoprolol
I have never got used to
nebivolol
and it's side effects, after 4 years, so hope the side effects don't make matters worse.

Nebivolol side effects
Consultant has put me on a small dose of
Nebivolol
and 8 weeks in I am really beginning to notice some side effects. These include, difficulty in sleeping, vision issues (difficult to describe but minor focusing and a goldfish bowl effect at night) and slight swelling of the ankles in the evening.

Has anybody taken the
nebivolol
as the chosen beta blocker? Most seem to take bisoprolol and I'm sensitive to that. Getting dizzy spells too...

I'm new to this
I've p a fib was diagnosed 2002 am on warfarin and
nebivolol
for it, plus other tabs for other things, but looking back it started long before that . I am going to have a cortisone injection in my thumb and wondered if it will affect my AF. Has anyone else had one?

Alivecor/Kardia Mobile ECG Monitor?
I am now on
Nebivolol
, initially 2.5mg twice a day. This has been increased since 2nd admission to 5mg twice a day. I am waiting for a stress echo as there is a question of some degree of heart failure too.

Flutter off!!!
So I went to see my lovely Gp who diagnosed flutter and put me on Diltiazam along with 10mg
Nebivolol
and after a further 5 days it went, back to 40bmp from 130bpm for 8 days – just like that – I cried my eyes out I was that happy.

Warfarin for afib
I'd been suffering from paroxysmal atrial tachycardia since 1965 and I was due for an ablation.for several years before, I had been put on various medications like ramipril, Bisoprolol and
Nebivolol
, all of which caused very bad side effects. As a final try I was put on Flecainide.

Bisoprolol v Nebivolol
I have been told I can change to
Nebivolol
as this drug will not make me feel so tired. Is any Member on
Nebivolol
as I would be interested to know the side effects, apart from tiredness I'm not aware I have other side effects from taking Bisoprolol, I would just like to get rid of the tiredness!
