My story won't apply to everyone, of course, but you may find a nugget worth considering. I've had mild RLS intermittently for forty years until it recently worsened. I'd always managed it with weighted heat, L-Tryptophan, magnesium glycinate, L-Theanine, and if necessary, a little pacing. At age 36,

Muscle building on ADT?
I just started radiation along with orgovyx and zitiga. Anyone know if you can build muscle while on these meds? I don't know if building muscle is even possible with no testosterone?

Are we Survivors Or Warriors?
When signing up for a local 5K walk/run that benefits PC, I had the option of a regular runner or to sign up as a Survivor. I guess I got caught up with word Survivor - having stage 4 cancer and after 9 weeks of IMRT last year and now entering my second year of ADT, I feel like a Warrior, yes I've

Tests in regard to treatment
Hi Folks, After RP ~6 months ago with persistent PSA > .15, I've begun ADT using Orgovyx, and salvage pelvic RT. When should I expect that my RO will order testing, and for what? For example blood tests for PSA & testosterone.

Questions regarding mental and emotional affects from having endometriosis, hormone spiral and possible removal, surgery.
Hello everyone! I am from Norway, and I am so glad that I found this place to read and Connect with all of you who share this condition of endometriosis. In my country there is not so much talk about this yet, we are much fewer people as well, so I find a lot of support reading the stories and experiences

High cortisol on NDT
hello all :) My
NDT
is working really well for my body (losing weight, hair not falling out, energy is up, skin softer etc.) but I have extreme anxiety, agitation making focus difficult, and some insomnia is also creeping in. I just found out I have a high reverse t3.

Mosquitos and being on ADT
I it just me or are mosquitoes no longer coming after us during walks in the woods? Scientists have figured out that sweat components attract them. And it has to be the right mix of components. Since going on ADT/abi, my sweat no longer stinks. Not all SE's are bad...

Update my progress posted by Formosan
Almost a month elapsed since I posted on this very informative and supportive group-net. To update my condition to those who responded to my question, i am pleased to tell you that my PSA done yesterday ( May 30) was 0.05. I don't really know what does it mean, at least I know it has come down quite

What's the deal with ADT and increased risk of metabolic syndrome? Can anyone confirm this personally?
Just here to learn as much as possible.

Has anyone returned to the first line of HT after second line failed?
Question 1: I would appreciate anyone who can share their experiences about returning to the first line of HT (Casadox) after the second line (Xtandi) failed. If so, how effective it is. I was thinking that doing ADT alternatively can stop castration resistence. If it works for all of us like going back

5kg weight loss with Hypothyroidism
For my case, my hypothyroidism has been more or less controlled using 0.5 grain
NDT
and 5mg T3. However, I did not lose all the weight even after my labs were in range.

Liothyronine brands and insomnia?
My health board has finally agreed to prescribe Liothyronine after years of me having firstly bought
NDT
until they stopped working and then sourcing Liothyronine from abroad. My thyroid syptoms seem well under control but I am suffering from chronic indomnia.

Long term HDRBrachyboost side effects testimonials.
I’m leaning heavily to HDR Brachyboost + ADT. (Due to high decipher score). (4+3, T1c) I’ve seen too many charts and stats on long term side effects of Brachyboost. I’m 58 and need to think way down the line. The data of old is not accounting for the more accurate delivery of the HDR and the boost

DHEA or PREGNENOLONE?
I also take 4 grains of
NDT
and 100 Oestrogen. The DHEA has worked really well and my DHEA is now well in range 250 (106-300). However, now my testosterone is raised to 2.7 (<1.2).

Wife seeking input regarding RT
I've been reading posts for several months and have learned a great deal. Thank you all! This is my first post so forgive me if I ramble a bit. Hubby is 78 and healthy (had stroke 4 years ago, fully recovered). He was diagnosed with Pca a year ago. PSA 10.2, TRUS biopsy showed three 3+4 lesions (2

thin skin?
Hi my brothers in ADT - I'm 10 months in to a 2-year stint (so far) on Eligard and abiraterone + prednisone. Lately I find that my skin seems to tear and bleed very easily -- scraping against something that wouldn't even have broken the skin in the past ends up with a skin tear, or at best bleeding
