I it just me or are mosquitoes no longer coming after us during walks in the woods? Scientists have figured out that sweat components attract them. And it has to be the right mix of components. Since going on ADT/abi, my sweat no longer stinks. Not all SE's are bad...

Well I suspect its not that your sweat doesn't stink. More like they can detect what other stuffs in there due to ADT and think its a good idea to stay clear.

yes mosquitos are really smart, they outsmart me all the time. they know your blood is poison. i have had an orchiectomy so i have very low T but I still get bitten by mosquitos. it must be the drugs they are avoiding :)

You’re not as tasty to many species. My cat used to try to get to my ear wax while sleeping. ADT sent him packing.

Wish I could say the same. Last weekend I was bit several times and developed welts that I havent experienced since childhood. I assumed it was related to ADT since some people report sensitivity to bruising. I actually tried googling this since I found it very unusual for me. Usually I dont even know I have been bit.

I have noticed the same. Bothered much less by mosquitoes and sweat does not seem to have a noticeable odour as well…which may explain why my wife doesn’t notice me as much as before 🤣 The bald spot at the top of my head is filling in - this is known to be due to the lack of DHT. Yes, there are some benefits Lol. Cheers, Phil

I'm less attractive to mosquitos than my better half. I was even more unattractive to the bugs last year on Jevtana and Carboplatin.

Er, no. My sample size is only me but I was swatting them more than usual last night in the back yard.

...that is a new one...if true then ADT has one more benefit. But, from what I know living if Florida, mosquitos are attracted to the CO2 that we exhale...so unless you can hold your breath for long periods of time I dont think ADT is doing this...but who knows...

Dont know how long youve been on ADT...if your Dr did not tell you it will pretty much wreck your natural erections and do a number on your penile tissue...dont wait too long to act on your ED (erectile dysfunction). The longer you wait the more atrophy you will have...if you need more info let me know...been there and done that...Rick

AGREED!!

I am same. Skeets do not like my ADT Enriched blood. My wife gets eaten alive by skeet’s down in St Pete in June at a still 5pm. I am right next to her on the Adirondack chair. Nothing.

Also after 4 hours of Pickleball in June in St Pete FL, lots of sweat. Everything soaked thru yet ZERO BODY ODOR. No deodorant. When I shower, no odor. So weird.

BTW - use VICKS (VapoRub Topical) to alleviate the itching torment...
