Hi Hoping for a little help with these results please I see an endo privately and he prescribes Erfa for me - these are my most recent blood results which the private hospital did. He has looked at them and said they are what he would expect taking Erfa. However I have put almost 2 stone in

Partial thyroidectomy
Hi all, I had a partial thyroidectomy in 2021 for papillary thyroid cancer follicular variant. Had surveillance scan September last year, all good. Had another scan this week, there is a 1cm growth on the left side which I had removed, also increased vascularity . I have multinodular goiter and thyroditis

Drinking & Thyroid
Just wondered if many of you with an underactive thyroid drink alcohol? Not an excessive amount but a few drinks perhaps. Of late and since being diagnosed with one I feel like my tolerance for it is terrible and one or two glasses of wine can wipe me out the next day. Is there any link? Be great to

Pain management Team
I have been waiting for 4 years to see someone in the pain management clinic at our local hospital. What a complete joke. When are the doctors and so called specialists going to help a patient who is in considerable pain and saying to him I want to cut my foot off. He was a complete waste of time, why

Advice with Graves Disease
Hi All - I was diagnosed with Graves Disease in June 2023 and prescribed Carbimazole 20mg plus Propranolol 80mg Sustained Release. Hello from New Zealand
My adult son was diagnosed with hypothyroidism from a routine test after a slight head injury during Covid lockdown. I have not been able to lose weight and so asked my GP for thyroid function test - and sure enough!! So was started on Eltroxin. Lately my usually reasonably well controlled BP went haywire

Euthyrox❗️❗️❗️❗️help
Until now, they provided Euthyrox with lactose from November, we now have Euthyrox with mannitol and citric acid instead of lactose.האם מישהו לקח את האוטירוקס החדש עם נימון? האם הרגשת שינוי לטובה או לרעה? אני באמת מפחד מהשינוי, תודה על כל עזרה.

Help with getting a diagnosis
Hi all, I have been struggling for years now with symptoms of hypothyroidism. It’s all really come on over the last couple of years. My weight is out of control, I’m freezing all the time, my hair is dry and brittle, plus many other textbook underactive thyroid symptoms. I’ve been to the doctors

Test results confusing
My mum has had an underactive thyroid for years...alongside type 1 diabetes. She was told she wasn't having enough levothyroxine, so the doctor wanted her to put it up to 100, but she asked to go on 75, as she felt 100 would be too much. The doctor agreed. She had a blood test on the 7th December and

NDT toleration
Hello everybody, I would like to ask if there is anobody who has problem with NDT. My adrenals/iron are ok but NDT (just 1/2 grain) makes me anxious, heart palpitations, sleep issues. But on this amout of NDT I am not hyper. What can be problem? It is worth to try syntetic FT4 only or FT3 only? Thank you

How to add adrenal support (on NDT)
I think I need to add adrenal support to my NDT but looking for some help on the practicalities and open to ideas about whether this is my problem. Specifically, do I need to stop NDT first? If so, how slowly should I taper off? I'd really like to spend as little time as necessary feeling so hypo!
